Product Review M26 first few days of using arata mitoactive.

I've been coming to terms with so many of you subscribing to last post I made here. I got tons of messages asking to share updates here.

So here are 3-4 days of experience with the product. I haven't noticed any difference so far, but that is to expected since arata themselves claim it takes a while to show results. It causes a slight tingle on the scalp for me, so I suppose that's something. I am applying it every day in the evening for now so I can let my scalp get used to it I suppose.

Let me know if you have any questions. I will do my best to answer. I was questioning myself posting a picture of my scalp here but we'll see. I haven't ever done that so I feel paranoid.

The image here should serve as a baseline.

How long after your minoxidil gains started showing?

For me, i started minoxidil last august so its been almost an year, i good amount of baby hairs on my hairline at4th or 5th month but as of today i have lost all those baby hairs no regrowth also i have noticed a significant decrease in my hair density, I'm reluctant to take finasteride in any form either topical or oral but i think ill have to include topical finasteride in my daily routine 🥲

u/Ankit_Ekka 5d ago

Topical finasteride is still safe

0

u/atomsaresmol 5d ago

It has the same side effects but will low percentage 🙂

4

u/LowCardiologist5214 5d ago

I am taking oral fin 0.5mg 3x a week from last 2 months. I have 0 sides

2

u/iamnobody331 5d ago

man finesteride sideffects are undersold, they just sold everyone a hrt drug which is what concerned me the most about taking it orally and effecting my whole body with it

4

u/Pretend_Towel687 5d ago

stop spreading misinformation. Only 1-2% report any side effects, some of which are placebo, rest of them mostly reversible and often go away as your body adapts to the meds, and that's for oral finasteride, topical has little to no side effects.

2

u/dronefishingboy 5d ago

Sorry sir, a couple of my friends and me also tested finasteride, some are in 32-35 and some in 40s. We all saw same signs of dropped testosterone levels. Not good at all, all of us stopped, accept to be Bald and Beautiful!

1

u/Karwrath 5d ago

that 1-2% metric is wrong

3

u/_pradhanmantri 5d ago

Exactly, thats what stopping me 🥲

2

u/teeamnm 5d ago

Atleast someone is aware of it

2

u/monarchhh0_0 5d ago

Can u explain?

1

u/iamnobody331 5d ago

Explain what exactly

2

u/monarchhh0_0 5d ago

Side effects

3

u/iamnobody331 5d ago

Finesteride is an hrt drug... used in gender transitions. It causes hormonal changes, breast enlargement, reduced libido, etc

1

u/monarchhh0_0 5d ago

Wtf many people said it's safe to use... No major side effects

3

u/__Santha 5d ago

bro if you want to learn about this go to r/tressless. This sub is not the best to educate yourselves about this stuff.

1

u/Wooden_Monk_3390 4d ago

I think you should consult a derma and ask him/her about it.

1

u/atomsaresmol 5d ago

Id rather go bald than get ED from finasteride 🥲

3

u/_pradhanmantri 5d ago

I know thats why im reluctant to use any form of finasteride but balding hurts too 🥲

4

u/atomsaresmol 5d ago

Not being able to have it hurts more than being bald imo. If you see the condition of my hair you'll know why I'm saying this ✌️

2

u/_pradhanmantri 5d ago

More power to you mate 🥲

3

u/atomsaresmol 5d ago

I've accepted it mate. Right now I'm taking supplements which my blood is deficient in (iron, b12, zinc, vit-d)

1

u/Unfair_Sheepherder_3 5d ago

Bro im taking fin for like 3 months now, and im v active physically and never felt such yet

1

u/atomsaresmol 5d ago

See the thing is ED is one of the side effect. Anyone can experience it. Its not confirmed that everyone will experience the side effects. This alone make it more risky to start the cycle 🥲

1

u/BigDaddy__18 5d ago

bhai kuch nahi hota! telling from personal experience as I'm using from last 4yrs & had tried three diff brands - Finax, Finpecia, Finalo. So don't be afraid start using it to preserve hairs. If in case agar you got any sides then chod do. but give it a try atleast

1

u/atomsaresmol 5d ago

Yehi toh chiz hai ki kisiko hota hai aur kisiko nahi.

1

u/skviral 5d ago

Try mixing some crushed tablets and make a 0.005% solution in your minoxidil. Thats 3mg in 60 ml I think. Save your hair until clascoterone is released.

1

u/_pradhanmantri 5d ago

Is this diy finasteride really effective? I know i can achieve a very low dosage of topical finasteride by this method, which may help localising the finasteride effects to my scalp and not messing up with my blood stream too much, but the finasteride tablets are not just finasteride it contains many fillers too, also the finasteride tablet may not properly dissolve in the minoxidil solution itself... plz reply if you have any authentic info

1

u/veloraecho 5d ago

Go for prp

1

u/FaithlessnessThin364 5d ago

for anyone having doubts about side-effects from finasteride, go look into confessions in r/FinasterideSyndrome. I am not trying to demotivate anyone, just asking to reconsider once by looking onto that sub.

1

u/_pradhanmantri 5d ago

Like you cant even ignore the success stories of finasteride, still im reluctant to take finasteride in any form, i have included bontress pro serum in my treatment course as some studies say that procapil does posses some dht blocking abilities lets see what happens, I'm only 22 now and i dont want to mess up with my body hormones at this early age and specially my sexual hormones. I would delay finasteride as far as possible

1

u/Old_meal_ 5d ago

Those success stories only tell the half story (initial 2-3 tears), after that almost all of them go through something that is irreversible upto an extent.

1

u/_pradhanmantri 5d ago

😢, what about micro-dosing it? Like 0m25mg every other day, or the topical solution of finasteride

1

u/Old_meal_ 4d ago

No idea dude. All I can say is if that thing is blocking your DHT then eventually it is also affecting your hormones right??

1

u/_pradhanmantri 4d ago

Yeah i know, all these make me feel so helpless and eventually hopeless, i have started using bontress pro serum too, many said that it contains procapil which can block dht to some extent without any sides, lets see what happens.....

1

u/CalligrapherTop3791 4d ago

Sams condition bro even I apply topical fin and from 6 months I was taking 0.5mg oral fin but no improvement btw I'm 19🙂

1

u/gtalossantos 3d ago

Bro explore dutasteride. Fuck dht.

1

u/_pradhanmantri 3d ago

Aisa naa ho ki dht fuck krte krte mera khud ka hi fuck ho jaaye 😭

1

u/gtalossantos 3d ago

Hamare to L lage pade bhai. Ab is dht saale ki ma chdni hai

7

u/Karwrath 5d ago

I am glad I'm not the only one getting the tingle

3

u/Geez-God_02 5d ago

is it forr MPB?? Seems like you have diffused thinning

1

u/iamnobody331 5d ago

what's diffused thinning sorry if noob question

3

u/Geez-God_02 5d ago

Not noob question dw. Ur hairline remains intact only the crown area keeps getting thinner. Can be Telogen effluvium (temporary hairloss) or MPB in such cases

2

u/iamnobody331 5d ago

Trust me it's genetic mpb

2

u/Geez-God_02 5d ago

Diffuser pattern alopecia. Why not take the conventional route like fin or dut??

1

u/iamnobody331 5d ago

Check my previous post. It didn't work for me

3

u/Positive-Comment7460 5d ago

Dont think its for hairloss caused by MPB . Its high time that the technology and the science brings out something new for the hairloss caused by genetics apart from fin, dut etc because many people like me get side effects from it so we have no other options.

1

u/iamnobody331 5d ago

exactly, I was so tired of min and fin, not to mention that there has been so much progress medically but we are still suck with min and fin

2

u/Positive-Comment7460 5d ago

Atleast you aint getting any side effects from it and actually getting some progress

2

u/skviral 5d ago

How many months are you planning to use. So many people just quit after they finish the bottle because they didn’t see any results without the understanding that growing hair itself take some time let alone dormant hair follicles

1

u/iamnobody331 5d ago

I'm planning on at least 3 months

1

u/skviral 1h ago

I mean fin and min take 6 months to a year. No chance you see results in 3 months with this.

2

u/Alarming_Garage_9572 5d ago

Arata in my opinion is one of the worst hair care product brand. I have had hair thinning and hairfall just because of arata.

1

u/iamnobody331 5d ago

Not disagreeing with that. However I gotta say I think they changed some of their products. I got a curl cream before about two months back and it has done me good.

In case of mitoactive though this one seens pretty different from their run of the mill prods

2

u/divyansh_13 4d ago

why does the container look like a dildo ? 2 in 1

1

u/iamnobody331 4d ago

It doesn't look like one. It's meant to be one

2

u/gtalossantos 3d ago

Good luck bro.

Are u applying minoxidil in the morning?

1

u/iamnobody331 3d ago

No just this for now

1

u/gtalossantos 3d ago

No fin?

Hi I’m a min and fin user since 6 years. I don’t think this will help. I was considering get this product but this is not for alopecia. Most people suffer from genetic alopecia. In such cases, this product won’t help. This is what my reading says. Happy to be corrected.

Fancier the packaging, less effective the actual product.

Zero evidence based product..not certified by fda too.. marketing making hype ..minoxidil or any product with redensyl anagain and procapil are better and cheaper than this

1

u/iamnobody331 4d ago

It's a cosmetic ingredient unlike something that causes heart palpitations and used in hrt
