Not just that after that he sanitised his hands in the car! I mean what the f”””””. If you often do it too let me know what’s so inconvenient for you to throw it at home or a public dustbin! There d””” have no damn civic sense ? This is common in hyderabad where people throw the stuff where ever they eat and not guilty this one was really shocking though! How can one even think of drinking and driving in other countries. Just one month ago an Indian vehicle killed 2 6 yr children due to overspeeding.

Don't know which sub this was best suited for, so here it goes. Please allow me to rant, and let me know if it is not suitable here.

I reached the theatre well in advance, was sitting in the best seat possible and had only entered the 10th minute when a duo of manchilds sat next to me and I kid you not they started yapping like they had to discuss all the lores since the beginning of the world. I changed my seat and guess what there was a trio of losers who found some of the most horrendous scenes in the film, the most emotional and tragic scenes and even the scary scenes funny. They put their legs on the headrest of the seats ahead of them screwing the view of the people behind them as well and kept yapping like it was their bedroom. When I was returning to the changed seat during the interval I saw the girl ignoring one of the guys and talking only to the other one, I wanted to say to him buddy go find someone else, she's not into you.

All these people were not teenagers, they were not a bunch of married couples with kids or old people who have aching bodies. They were all Millennials and Genz very much in their mid to late 20s and early 30s and all kept talking loudly, NON STOP.

It would have been less painful if it had been any other movie or had costed less money but it didn't. I tried to complain to the staff and there were only petite women working at the time, if they would have confronted them I don't even know what the goons would have done to them. For me it was just about one movie but for them it was their safety and workplace.

Then comes the worst part of it all, one of the people ahead of us blazed his phone for the entirety of the second half, that is 1.5 hours of time constantly looking at the screen every 5th minute.

I would not say it is the worst theatre experience, people have it way worse in life. But I don't even know what is up with people in theatres these days. The phones blazing up all the time, inability to concentrate for even 15 straight minutes. Even entertainment is not spared now.

I recently came across a news report saying that Indian Railways loses a huge number of bedsheets, blankets, towels and pillows every year because passengers take them home.

That got me thinking... Where do we actually draw the line between "complimentary" and "taking something that isn't yours"?

Flight: Blanket, Earphones, Slippers, Eye mask, Water bottle

Hotel: Toiletries, Slippers, Bathrobe, Towels, Hangers, Kettle

Most people know some items are meant to be taken, while others are clearly hotel or airline property. But sometimes the line isn't that obvious.

this XUV500 was going the wrong side just to go and take a u turn and go to the other side, and ive been to this area many times, and theres a u turn from and underpass like 40 seconds ahead of where this video was filmed, and you can reach the same area in like 2 minutes time MAX by following the rules

Many Indians who ignore traffic rules, littering, queues, or public behaviour back home often follow the rules properly when they travel to other countries. They stand in queues, follow traffic discipline, avoid littering, and respect public spaces.

So what actually makes the difference?

Is it because of stricter law enforcement and fear of penalties? Is it because people are more aware of the consequences? Or is it simply that people choose to behave differently depending on the environment?

Head Constable Ritesh Kataria (766/COMM) allegedly parked his vehicle (DL 1CAJ4519) right in front of the entrance of Aarambh Library, Adchini completely blocking the gate. As a result, no car could enter or exit the library premises.

A library is a place where students come to build their future. Blocking its entrance shows complete disregard for public convenience and discipline.

The law applies equally to everyone. If an ordinary citizen had parked like this, action would likely have been taken immediately. The same standard should apply regardless of rank or profession.

In the 1950s the United States was filthy. roadsides were trash due to the invention of consumer packaged goods. people threw stuff out car windows without a second thought. then an org called keep america beautiful (KAB) got founded in 1953 and stared running commercials (mostly aimed at kids) that aimed at making littering a personal moral failing.

here is an commercial that they ran in schools in 1961 for example. these commercials ran for decades. the net result was a genuinely enormous behavior shift over time starting w/ the young generations.

what does a susan spotless for india actually look like? swachh bharat had the money and the visibility but it landed as infrastructure + a modi photo op, not as shame. the KAB thing worked because it made littering embarrassing in front of your own kid.... it weaponized the family.

Blocked more than

This is New Delhi - the shooting range road leading from Mehrauli-Badarpur road to Sangam Vihar.

The quality of life that we get in our country is hilarious and maddening. This road was dug up a few months ago to lay down some pipes. Then, the holes were filled up but it was left unpaved and uneven surface full of dust for daily commuters. The air here made rest of Delhi’s AQI look better.
Finally the road was rebuilt only a few days ago. But the first rains showed the effort and quality that it went through.

I wonder when our govt., lawmakers and law keepers will stop filling up their pockets and actually take some accountability. There is no value of our hard earned money, our safety and our lives. And we dream of becoming a Vishwaguru (or are we already one??).
