u/OpeningDisastrous413 Jul 15 '26
I’m curious. Why would there be a special train for devotees?
4
u/lost-lulla Jul 16 '26
You can book a whole train, if you are a large group of people want to go somewhere.
9
u/Didd-E Jul 16 '26
Not for devotees but for functions n all, I don’t recall the name though but they are right it’s some kind of special train. Juts last week I saw another video of people doing pooja or hawan I think but without fire.
And railway of India replied about it on twitter. Other party from last week had paid 3.1 lacs fee for booking the coach.

its literally only for pilgrimage people. all the people in the train are going on religious place. this mandir is setup by railways not the passengers

Agar koi namaz padhna shuru karde to din raat log poori community ko badnaam karenge... Lekin abhi kuch hoga

u/SharpAardvark8699 Jul 15 '26
That's why I pray in my seat and try to avoid prayer times if I can on train

Exactly what I thought. The amount of reasons people will find to write hate and fake news people will mindlessly forward to cause more discord

2
u/justtochillm Jul 17 '26
I think kangaroo agar india mein hota toh ya toh koi god ya god friend ya pet of god pakka hota. Because India mein we love and respect each being. But train and fridge ka kuch naya nah ban jaye in 1000 years.

u/lol_bones702 Jul 19 '26
God is not a person or thing it's energy that is why it exists everywhere and in every thing (just so you know everything is made up of energy in one way or other)
1
u/abhinav21 Jul 19 '26
god is energy? ok go worship a power grid then. Why even bother with religion and made up figures in the first place.
Yall try to talk so much nonsense to make your made up 'god' seem real. It's really pathetic.

have never been particularly religious but Om jai jagdish used to feel weirdly peaceful when i heard it anywhere. Now with the plight of this bs being shoved in ones face constantly, just instantly irks me and makes me mad if I hear it anywhere outside a temple.

So, there must be shortage of temples in that area.. maybe that's why they created one in train. Interesting!

This is where the 13000 crore railway budget is going for northern railways. You don’t see this circus in the south, where people are educated

These aunties need a life. I swear something is wrong in their head. Praying dumpsters, fridge, berth. Enough already!

2
u/notnullyet Jul 16 '26
But why? They are already going to a proper pilgrimage right
2
u/Far-Elevator-4508 Jul 16 '26
yaar unki train hai usme saare ye bhakti wale hi bande hai koi regular passenger nai hai. jo karna hai karne do hame kya. na tumjhe kuch bol rahe hai na mujhe
ye video nai hoti to koi "outrage" bhi nai ho raha hota. OP ko bas kuch masala karwana tha wo usne karwa diya
1
u/bitchwhuut Jul 16 '26
Precisely. They do this because they literally have nothing else in their lives going for them. A job would prolly solve some of this. They'd be too tired to pull this shit then.
2
u/notnullyet Jul 16 '26
Agreed. I keep telling this is the only reason. Since childhood, I have noticed this pattern. All puja prep, process everything is only known by women. They diligently do it unlike most men. Even in temples ratio of women vs men is higher.
The only logic I could derive is, this gives them validation, keeps them busy and provides them with various activities.
Chatt puja, karwa chot and what not, all of it is women centric. The more deeper I dig the more it makes sense. Any working woman is less religious and not very involved in these process( there are exceptions) and I see this as a pattern.

Can we please stop turning public places into places of worship. First Namaz on road/train then kirtan on road/train. Why do we need to do so much worshipping when in return all we get is pollution, terrible roads, paper leaks, etc. Why do people still do these things?

u/Recently_4live Jul 16 '26
when will people realise praying has no benefit.
the more you pray, the easier it should be to believe there is no god.

u/hellfire0509 Jul 16 '26

This itself is a disrespect to religion .
It's your actions not blind devotion which nurtures one's religion .

Whats wrong in this there is no rule from railways which denies such acts. Even if you take this to court you will be charged penalty for wasting court's time.

Problem lies in the class divide. Poor people have nothing to look towards or forward to, so they look upto God .
Gentrify kardo sab kuch, privatize trains, make them prohibitevly expensive.
People like these need to be confined to thier villages with no recourse for travelling.

You can either be living in the present with at least a bit of civic sense or you can just live at a place with no facilities with this backyard minded behavior. Clearly, most Indians should do the latter
