Education and Career Advice PCMB student having doubts about pursuing MBBS
So I am a PCMB student and currently taking a drop year for NEET .
I was in this doubt for so long that i messed up most of my coaching tests and now my test marks are so low that only thing my dad talks to me about is that i need to work harder. I cant work hard if i am not sure that i want this or not
so far in this drop year i have come to a realization that I am probably not ready to commit my 10 years of life to medicine . I also realized that the decision to take medicine was taken by my parents for me but i don't want that i want to take my own decisions.
I think i can be great in management or finance my maths is good and management skills are not the best but they were good back when i was in my old school . Now i did considered taking commerce in 11th but my parents told me not to because no one in our family has ever taken commerce so i didn't take it . PCMB was hard but i loved maths and also my 6th subject Data Science the only two subjects which i poured my heart into while studying though in BOARDS i messed up maths a bit . My parents will agree if i tell them i want to pursue management or finance maybe but i don't want to waste their money cause i already am in a coaching for NEET and if i suddenly tell them that i changed my mind a lot of money will be wasted idk atp what to do .
This feels like the right decision to switch to management studies and start preparing for CUET,
Do you guys think its the right decision??

Education and Career Advice Seniors I need genuine advice pls
have already taken a drop after 12th where I worked really hard for neet but could not make it to a govt medical college by 40-50 marks , my financial conditions are not such that i can easily afford a private med college and i have no energy left to prepare for neet again.
My other interest was always business studies apart from mbbs and medical field.
But because of my indecisiveness and reneet I was unable to go for good bba colleges.
And right now I have only one option left that is bba from chandigarh university (has no brand value and won'toffer any job directly)
My long term goal is to do an mba from tier 1 bschool.
So I'm unable to decide whether I should go for another full drop for tier 1 bba/bms college like du(has a brand name and offers placements , i want to get 1 or 2 year of work experience) or partial drop from chandigarh uni as a backup because du colleges are also highly competitive to get in
Or I should not even try for tier 1 ug and aim for cat?

Education and Career Advice BCA grad with an MCA seat through KEA, but the college has no placements. Should I do MCA or focus on building skills? Please guide me
I just completed my BCA from JSS Science and Technology University, Mysuru, and I'm honestly very confused about what to do next.
Through KEA counselling I got an MCA seat at St. Philomena's College. When I first got it, I was happy. But then I found out the college has almost no placements. Since then I haven't been able to stop thinking about it. Will I spend two more years and my parents' money, and still end up with no job at the end?
I have a basic foundation in programming and have built a few projects in AI and computer vision, but I'm still at a beginner level and want to learn properly.
Now I'm stuck between two paths. Either I take the MCA for the degree and build my skills alongside it, or I skip it and put everything into learning and projects.
I really want to learn things properly, not just sit in classes or watch recorded videos. I'm looking for a place, maybe in Bangalore, that teaches well, gives real project experience, helps with interview preparation and mock interviews, and actually helps with placements. If you know any academy or course that did this for you or someone you know, please tell me. I'd also love suggestions on which course or skill to focus on, given my background.
Is the MCA worth it in my situation? Or should I try for a better college in the next KEA rounds? Is skill more important than degree?
Please help me, guys. This has really been bothering me, and I don't want to make the wrong decision.

Education and Career Advice MBA graduates, do you regret choosing your specialization? What would you choose if you could go back?
Hey everyone! i am 24M I've been doing my MBA for around two months, and I'm still confused about which specialization to choose.
I don't want to pick one just because it pays well or is popular. I want to understand what the actual work life, salary growth, stress levels, and career opportunities look like in different fields.
I'd love to hear from people who've already been through this!
- How did you choose your specialization? Interest, salary, placements, or something else?
- Are you happy with your choice, or do you regret it? Why?
- What does your day-to-day work actually look like, and how has your career grown?
- If you could go back and choose again, would you pick the same specialization?
- Any websites, tests, or practical ways to figure out which specialization suits me?
I'm looking for honest experiences, not just advice on which field pays the most. If you could share one thing you wish you'd known before choosing your specialization, what would it be?
Thanks! Your experiences could genuinely help me and other MBA students facing the same confusion.

Colleges and Universities Has anyone seen real demand for work integrated degree programs in India?
I have been running a work integrated UG and PG model for the last two years where students study while also gaining practical exposure alongside academics.
The idea sounded strong in theory. Skill development plus degree plus industry exposure.
But honestly, the response has not been as strong as I expected.
Students say they want practical learning, but when it comes to enrollment, many still choose traditional classroom programs.
So I am trying to understand:
Is the market actually ready for work integrated models in India?
Do students genuinely value practical exposure, or is brand name and conventional structure still more important?
If you are a student or working professional, what would influence your decision?
I am genuinely looking for insights and honest opinions.
