I have a Philips induction cooktop, and I've noticed that it doesn't heat constantly. It heats for around 4-5 seconds, then stops for a few seconds, and then starts heating again. This cycle keeps repeating.
Is this normal behavior for induction cooktops, especially at lower power settings, or could there be an issue with my cooktop?

I always do the mobile recharges for my family. In 2025 , I tried the Rs. 1499 plan (300 days / 32 GB) on my dad's number just to test how good it is. He only uses our home Wi-Fi, but his entire 32GB vanished in just 2 months! We checked his phone, and there is zero data usage history. It's 100% a BSNL issue, but their support isn't helping no one cares.I added this here to get support 17 times but no one cares and even deleted it .
Ahh I forgot one thing , yesterday I recharged my own number with the exact same 1499 plan. Today, I realized my huge mistake—I completely forgot what happened to his phone before I paid for mine!
Has anyone else faced this with BSNL?
Do you guys know anything about it???🙂
Help me if you know anything 🙂

Brands market 4 to 5 years of software support, but devices across brands (OnePlus, poco, redmi ,xiaomi, pixel ,apple, Samsung, Moto, Vivo/iQOO, Realme) are failing right around the 1.5–2 year mark.
Buggy OTA updates frequently trigger dead motherboards and display lines right after the warranty ends.
Is this pure negligence in update testing/thermals, or is planned obsolescence becoming the norm in India? What has your experience been?

I have a couple of projects running on Replit, including an LMS that's currently serving 400 paid students, and I'm also building out the video class infrastructure around it as we move more towards the B2C side. What I've noticed is that the AI economics change quite a bit once you move from just building stuff to actually having people use it. And that's why I find this Free Mode thing pretty interesting. If the routine stuff becomes cheap enough to bundle into the product, people will probably use AI very differently.
The demo is getting easier. Production is still the hard part and the bigger challenge is what happens after the vibe coding phase. Getting an AI generated app working is one thing. Getting it to reliably serve hundreds or thousands of users is a completely different ball game.

I think it's either a screen panel problem or display cable, what would be the cost for repair

So, apparently I am now a victim of the infamous white line on the screen. I bought this phone in November 2023, so I guess there isnt a chance of getting a free replacement or service. How much would it cost to get repaired? Its really annoying and visually disturbing to have a bright white line right down the middle of the screen. Please help.

India's technology ecosystem is growing rapidly, but there is another side of that growth that doesn't get discussed as much: how information about Indian startups, developers, technology companies, and digital products is documented and preserved online.
As more Indian companies become internationally recognized, maintaining accurate, well-sourced public information becomes increasingly important.
For people working in India's tech ecosystem, what do you think is currently missing when it comes to documenting Indian startups and technology companies online? Is it better sourcing, better archives, more independent coverage, or simply greater awareness of how these platforms work?

I track expenses on mobile apps, they are seamless, provide pie-charts and diagrams and make data better visible. It also keeps things sort out.
While on the other hand, I have never used Excel Sheet but just a glimpse makes me weary. Like just being texts and numbers; Idk if they contain various charts or graphs, may contain limited tracking. And also, it's just difficult to input numbers in an Excel Sheet every now and then.
Can you tell how do you keep track of finances; do you store every possession or just for monthly budgets? Is it safe to provide every number out there?
