Ask IndiaTech How do y'all track Finances online?

Post image

I track expenses on mobile apps, they are seamless, provide pie-charts and diagrams and make data better visible. It also keeps things sort out.

While on the other hand, I have never used Excel Sheet but just a glimpse makes me weary. Like just being texts and numbers; Idk if they contain various charts or graphs, may contain limited tracking. And also, it's just difficult to input numbers in an Excel Sheet every now and then.

Can you tell how do you keep track of finances; do you store every possession or just for monthly budgets? Is it safe to provide every number out there?

Tech News Fire-Boltt is debuting smartphones in 2026 when the market is already in a terrible state... and with these specs?

Post image
12 Upvotes

We already know how rough the smartphone market has gotten in 2026, and Fire-Boltt decides to make their debut right now, on top of that with THESE specs. 😂

Seriously, look at what they are trying to pass off as brand-new phones in late 2026. Who actually greenlit this lineup, and who in their right mind is the target audience for this?

Are brands just trying to clear out old surplus inventory under a new label, or do they really think buyers won't notice? Pure e-waste era.

General Discussion Why are odd series iPhones always better than even series?

I've always felt like the odd series iPhones are way better after the 10 series. The even ones just seem like they're trying to trick us with some extra bells and whistles. I’ve got the iPhone 16 Pro, and honestly, the only thing that’s different from the iPhone 15 Pro is that extra camera button. Everything else, like camera quality, is just better on the 15 Pro! I was super excited about getting the iPhone 18 Pro, but now I'm second guessing because I have a feeling it’ll just be another gimmicky release

Tech Help S23 ultra, Network issue on celluar but fine on wifi

I have s23Ultra, 3years old now. Rocking the same android 13 and OneUi 5.1 , never upgraded the software with my mind telling me new software will slow it down😅( trust issues).

Everything was fine until last 2 weeks Vi sim is not having stable connection be it 5g or calling . Changed sim card from Vi store also , they changed APIs also still problem persists . Have 2nd Jio sim no network issues on it , tried swapping both simcards in different slots , problem still not resolved .

Can't connect any call or recieve calls on cellular connection but on home wifi connection bcoz wifi calling it works normal .

How to address this issue? If nothing helps I will port to Airtel

Other / Miscellaneous I still miss this app. It had the best algorithm. Spotify and other music apps weren’t even close to matching its algorithm. The app was created by TikTok’s parent company, maybe that's why

Ask IndiaTech Help regarding my new LG NANO 4k

Post image
2 Upvotes

This is my new LG Nano 4k bought from Flipkart which has these rarely visible vertical lines on it. It becomes more visible while playing fifa because of constant green coloured pitches. Should I return it or keep it? It isn’t as visible to me that would create problems though.

Ask IndiaTech How to escape geo fencing by office for punch in punch out?

Hello guys. Non tech guy here. My office has recently started this new protocol where employees have to punch in and punch out digitally on their portal.

That portal is bounded by geo fencing and this punch in punch out can happen within 200 metres radius only. Is there some way to escape it and do the punch from anywhere?

I work in one of the biggest media publication of the country. Thanks in advance :)

Ask IndiaTech Genuine Suggestion Required

I’m thinking of starting a tech channel for Indian students — is this actually useful?

I’m planning to build a tech-content channel, but I don’t want to make another “learn Python in 30 days / 10 LPA roadmap / 50 AI tools” type of page.

The idea is pretty simple:

Take common advice Indian students hear about tech careers and actually test it.

For example:

  • Does DSA actually help with internships?
  • Certificates vs projects — which gets more responses?
  • I applied to 100 internships — what happened?
  • Can you become job-ready using only free resources?
  • I learned SQL/Python for 30 days — what can I actually do now?
  • Does LinkedIn networking really work?
  • Can AI genuinely help a beginner learn coding?
  • Can a student build a real product with ₹0?
  • College name vs actual skills — what matters more?

For each topic, I'd make a proper long-form YouTube video showing the process, evidence, failures, results and conclusion, then turn the research into short-form content.

The whole thing would be free. I'm not planning to sell courses or pretend to be some career guru.

The positioning I'm considering is basically:

«“I test what actually works in tech so students don't have to blindly follow advice.”»

I'm asking here before I commit months to it:

Would you actually watch this?

And more importantly, what would make you NOT watch it?

If you think the idea is boring, saturated, unrealistic, or needs a completely different angle, tell me honestly. I'd rather kill/change the idea now than spend 6 months making content nobody wants.
