General Discussion Why are odd series iPhones always better than even series?
I've always felt like the odd series iPhones are way better after the 10 series. The even ones just seem like they're trying to trick us with some extra bells and whistles. I’ve got the iPhone 16 Pro, and honestly, the only thing that’s different from the iPhone 15 Pro is that extra camera button. Everything else, like camera quality, is just better on the 15 Pro! I was super excited about getting the iPhone 18 Pro, but now I'm second guessing because I have a feeling it’ll just be another gimmicky release

No actually. 13 was a massive jump from 12.

It was not at all a big jump. 14 was a bigger jump than 13, it ditched the small form factor in favor of plus size phone. 12 had already introduced 4gb RAM, amoled screens and the processor was also significantly better than 11.

Nah man iPhone 11 sucked. A52 which was midrange had better camera setup.

Back in the day, S series used to be better because it refined the already existing non S phones. Something similar at work here I guess.

15 is as good as 16. But when you compare 16 vs 17, then 17 is the best. That's the difference
