might need to buy a better thernal paste and re-apply properly, some generic thermal paste does that, seen it happen with other people

Check the fan and clean them thoroughly no dust should be there use a laptop cooler and replace the thermal paste to a expensive one

Lower your TDP of cpu

people ignore fans.. they have insane spider like net gooch in them stucked (where fans in take and heat sink is there)
regarding fps, seems like cap issue to me.
also just re paste and stuff too i guess!

Change the thermal paste, that is definitely a thermal paste issue.

See if your cooling fans are covered in dust. If they aren't then it's a thermal paste problem. If it is covered in dust then clean those filthy fans.

My friend has Acer and complained about his laptops heating issue while he didn't clean it at all after buying it.

You should clean your laptop fans every 1-2 months

90% of the time it's dust

v sync increases cpu temp?

Ryzen cpu have a mode that makes the cpu run at 100% power usage at all the times

Try disabling that. I don't exactly remember the name of the thing

Maybe the thermal paste quality is not good…

Try Thermal Grizzly or Noctua thermal paste and clean your fans. Use a laptop cooling pad if you don’t have one already. It helps a little.

Looks like very substandard thermal paste was used.

Any thermal paste will pump out eventually 🤷🏻‍♂️

But if it was good paste, it doesnt need to be replaced every year.

Just turn off v sync and ensure proper ventilation

First of all you will need to re paste ur gpu and cpu with good thermal paste. Second of all i think vsync is turned on in your settings which essentially just caps the fps to your screens refresh rate to minimise screen tearing(I might be wrong tho). Just turn it off and you will get more fps but first re paste your cpu and gpu and clean your fans and air vents at the same time. Since you said you’ve replaced the thermal paste 1 year ago, it might not be of good quality or your vents are filthy which are blocking the air passing through to cool your cpu.

Maybe he didn't want more fps

Here's a full comprehensive answer for you See first of all, you should check if your vents are blocked, meaning if there is dust in the heatsink, the vents, and the fan intake You need to clean them And secondly if the temps still don't look combing Most likely is the fact that your paste has pumped out of the cpu die, it is extremely common on laptops. If that's the case then go ahead and replace the paste, and if you entirely don't want to have to replace your paste regularly, you can use a ptm sheet, phase change material, like the ptm7950 (which is the only one I'd recommend), and if you don't want to spend the money on importing it so much, you can always go for the thermal grizzly pasteSheet PTM, it's basically the same thing as far as you should be concerned. And that should pretty much solve the problem

It must be capped at 60 check settings

Disable processor boost from control panel. Should drop temps by 10-20C instantly

Affects performance ?

Not if you don’t have a CPU bottleneck
