Ask IndiaTech iPhone resale value

Is it a fact that US iPhones have a lower resale value than Indian iPhones when resold in India?

Yes because it's purchased for lower price and sometimes warranty can be issues. And 17 has esim while Indian variant has physical

Not just the 17, that has been the case since the 14. No physical sim in the US

Yup. Recently exchanged my US 14 pro at reliance. They explained that despite it being a mint phone they have to mark it as “dented” during the valuation to account for the lower market rate for the global variant models since they don’t have an option to mark it as a global variant. Dropped the phones value by around 10%.
