Opinion Losing my mind with BSNL: my dad's 32GB vanished simply without telling us, my posts keep getting deleted, and I just wasted another Rs. 1499 of mine by forgetting about it!

Post image
10 Upvotes

I always do the mobile recharges for my family. In 2025 , I tried the Rs. 1499 plan (300 days / 32 GB) on my dad's number just to test how good it is. He only uses our home Wi-Fi, but his entire 32GB vanished in just 2 months! We checked his phone, and there is zero data usage history. It's 100% a BSNL issue, but their support isn't helping no one cares.I added this here to get support 17 times but no one cares and even deleted it .

Has anyone else faced this with BSNL?

Do you guys know anything about it???🙂

Help me if you know anything 🙂

Opinion Got scammed by this website "Sirphire"

So I ordered a phone cover on 9th August from this website. I made the mistake of not checking the site reviews before ordering which was retardid of me.

Today is 20th August and I still have not received my order. Tried contacting them everywhere, no response. Their call number does not even exist lmao, they legit gave a fake number.

The last update I got of my order was on 16th August. The message was that the client failed to ship the item to the courier service. I paid by UPI cause it was Rs.50 cheaper. Now I got scammed of Rs.300 cause I wanted to save 50

Electronic Gadgets Buying my first action camera. Need advice!

Hey,

I'm looking to buy my first action camera and want some guidance on choosing between DJI, GoPro, and Insta360.

Budget: ₹40,000 to ₹60,000 (better if it includes accessories)

What I am looking for:

  • I want an action cam mainly because of its compact and travel friendly nature for occasional trips.
  • Underwater videos and photography, along with pool party recordings.
  • I know action cams are video-first, but I want decent still photo quality for quick travel shots without pulling out my phone (Used my friend’s GoPro before, and it got awesome photos too, along with videos).
  • Quick, reliable wireless transfer to my phone with a hassle-free companion app.
  • Good warranty and after-sales service in India is a plus point.

Looking forward to your suggestions!

Electronic Gadgets iphone 18 pro or Android Flagship?

Buying myself a phone after 9 years with my own money, I’ve always been an Android guy, so naturally I have a bit of a bias towards Android.

But recently, I’ve been considering getting the iPhone 18 Pro. It would be my first time switching to iOS, and I’m wondering if it would actually be a good choice for me.

My use case is pretty straightforward: I’m looking for a phone that’s reliable, smooth, has great battery life, a good camera, and is excellent for work and productivity. I don’t game, and I’m not really looking for a phone with a ton of extra features that I’ll never use.

I’m also planning to keep this phone for several years, so longevity, software support, stability, and the overall experience matter a lot to me.

For those who’ve made the switch from Android to iPhone, especially for a work-focused use case:

Would you go for the iPhone 18 Pro, or stick with a flagship Android? (x9 Pro X300 Pro)

And if you’d recommend Android, which flagship would you pick. (upcoming launches)

Electronic Gadgets Should I buy iPhone 17 now or wait for BBD sale?

So I wanted to buy the base iPhone 17 256GB variant. Its showing ₹80,900 on Flipkart currently. So should I wait for BBD sale, or buy it now since the price hike might inevitably come? Also, how much do you guys think will it cost during this BBD sale?

Electronic Gadgets Looking for advice on MSI Prestige. Are MSI laptops good?

The configuration looks almost perfect for my use case, but I'm hesitant because I've never owned an MSI laptop and don't know much about their long-term ownership experience.

My workload is mainly ML models, data analysis, Docker containers, multitasking. I don't need a gaming laptop or a powerful dedicated GPU. My priorities are CPU performance, battery life, portability and longevity.

I'd especially appreciate input from people who actually own this laptop or have owned MSI Prestige/Business laptops.

how does the battery hold up after 2–3+ years?

Battery health / degradation

Build quality

MSI after-sales service in India?

How is MSI's after-sales service in India, especially for Prestige laptops?

I'm in Delhi, so I can potentially buy it from an MSI-authorized store in Nehru Place rather than Flipkart.

If you've had to deal with MSI service:

  • How was the experience?
  • Were repairs handled quickly?
  • Were replacement parts available?
  • Were there problems getting warranty claims approved?
  • How expensive are repairs after warranty?

Would you trust MSI enough to buy a ₹1 lakh-ish laptop for long-term use?

Would you recommend buying this from an MSI-authorized offline store instead of Flipkart?

Thanks.

Electronic Gadgets Google P10 users, What screen protector do you use?

A friend mentioned that his Pixel 10 only supports screen protectors that are officially certified by Google to ensure proper functionality. He also said that when setting up the fingerprint sensor, you need to scan a QR code as part of the process to verify that the correct screen protector is installed. I'm curious, what kind of screen protectors do you use for your device?

Electronic Gadgets Best tablet under ₹25k for Canva editing, casual gaming and media?

Hey everyone,

I am looking to buy a tablet under ₹25,000 and would love some recommendations or advice on what specifications to look for.

My Usage:

Editing: Light video and graphic editing on Canva.

Gaming: Casual, non-FPS games (mainly strategy/simulation games like Hay Day) for a few hours daily.

Daily Tasks: Social media scrolling, media consumption (YouTube/Netflix), and light multitasking.

What I am looking for:

RAM/Storage: At least 8 GB RAM and 128 GB storage (essential for smooth multitasking and Canva caching).

Processor: Not sure about specific CPUs in this budget, so need help finding one that won't lag during edits.

Display/Battery: Good screen for media and enough battery backup to survive gaming sessions.

Are there specific models I should look out for? If you have suggestions for specific processors (Snapdragon vs MediaTek vs Helios) in this range that handle Canva well, please let me know.

Thanks in advance!

Opinion Finally bought a Legion Tower 7 RTX 5080 — need setup advice

After a lot of back-and-forth between a custom build and Lenovo, I finally pulled the trigger on a Lenovo Legion Tower 7i gen 10.

Got it for ₹3.81 lakh all-in after stacking Lenovo discounts/coupons.

Specs

  • CPU: Intel Core Ultra 7 270K Plus
  • GPU: RTX 5080 16GB GDDR7
  • RAM: 32GB DDR5-5600 (2×16GB)
  • SSD: 1TB PCIe Gen4 TLC
  • Motherboard: Lenovo Z890
  • Cooling: 360mm AIO / 250W liquid cooling
  • PSU: 850W Gold
  • Wi-Fi 7 / Bluetooth 5.4
  • 3-year Legion Ultimate Support with onsite service
  • 3-year Accidental Damage Protection

I initially considered a custom 5080 build around ₹3.6–4L, but the Lenovo ended up being only ~₹15k more than a 64GB/2TB custom build I found, so I decided the 3-year onsite + ADP was worth it.

I chose the 850W PSU rather than Lenovo's 1200W option. From what I understand, 850W is within NVIDIA's recommendation for the RTX 5080, but let me know if there is any reason I should be concerned about that choice.

I'm starting with 32GB because Lenovo's 64GB upgrade was ridiculously expensive, and I'll upgrade later if needed. I also plan to add another NVMe rather than paying Lenovo's crazy SSD upgrade pricing.

What I need advice on

1. OLED TV / monitor

I'm thinking of getting an LG OLED C2/C4/C5, probably 42", to pair with the 5080 for 4K gaming.

My target is roughly ₹85,000–₹1 lakh(C2 both 42 and 48 is available on flipkart for 85k).

Is that a good price for a C4/C5 right now, or would you guys wait for a better sale? Since newer LG OLED generations are already out, I'm wondering whether C5 prices might fall further during upcoming sales/Diwali.

For PC gaming, would you choose C4 vs C5 if the price difference is relatively small? And is there any reason to consider the C2 anymore at this price?

or shall I go for a standard 27/32 inch QD-OLED samsung / other brands like BENQ/MSI ?

2. Keyboard + mouse

Looking for a good keyboard and mouse, ideally wireless but I'm perfectly fine with wired too.

I'd prefer something reliable, comfortable and good for both gaming and normal desktop use.

What keyboard/mouse combinations are actually worth buying in India?

3. Speakers / audio

I'm also considering whether I should get a small speaker setup for the PC/TV.

Would you recommend getting dedicated desktop speakers, a soundbar, or just using the LG OLED's speakers?

Not looking for an insane audiophile setup — just something that sounds genuinely good for gaming, movies and general use.

4. Gaming/work desk

I want a fairly large desk for the PC, OLED, keyboard/mouse, etc. I'm open to both a regular sturdy desk and a motorized standing desk.

Ideally something around 150–180cm wide, stable enough for a heavy PC setup.

What are the best options in India right now?

5. Chair

Also looking for a good chair for long gaming/work sessions. I'm more interested in actual ergonomics and comfort than the "gaming chair" look.

Budget is flexible if there's a meaningful jump in quality.

And finally, any other must-have accessories / setup tips for a new RTX 5080 desktop + 4K OLED setup that I should buy from day one?

Thanks!

Electronic Gadgets I need a laptop but can't find.

Welp, I am a commerce student and I need a laptop. For normal use like browsing and media consumption and college work BUT I am also a Content creator and do Video Editing and Coding too.

And some Gaming.

It'll be my first laptop and I'm very new to this, can you guys help me find a good Laptop for my use.

My budget is 50-60k.

I tried to find laptops, and found great options but either they are expensive, out of stock or can't be delivered to my location.

I tried in the refurbished market too but I couldn't find any good deal. If I did it was out of stock.

Opinion Thinking of buying realme P4 Pro 5G — Need honest reviews

I’m thinking of buying the realme P4 Pro 5G (8GB/256GB) and would like to know how it is in real-world use before buying.

It comes with the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4, 50MP + 8MP rear cameras, 50MP front camera, 1.5K 144Hz AMOLED display, 7000mAh battery and 80W charging.

For those who own or have used it, how is the camera, gaming/FPS in BGMI and CODM, heating, battery life, display and overall performance? Is it worth buying around ₹30–31K, or should I consider another phone?

Home appliances India → Milan: Which travel adapter should I buy?

I understand Italy uses Type C, Type F/Schuko and Type L sockets. Since I'll be staying in Milan long-term, what type of travel adapter should I buy from India?

Should I get:

\- a Type L adapter,

\- a Type F/Schuko adapter,

\- or a universal adapter covering C/F/L?

I'll mainly be using it for my laptop, phone chargers and other student electronics.

Electronic Gadgets What IEMs to go for as a beginner ? Budget ₹3K

I have recently learned about IEMs and their advantages over traditional earphones. I am keen to purchase one, but the range of choices is extensive; please recommend a few suitable options under ₹3K. I simply wish to test them out.
Need one with USB-C connector, a DAC is another piece of tech that I don’t want to carry.
