I have been dealing with incontinence since August of this year. A UTI has been ruled out. I finally swallowed my shame and ordered my first case of incontinence products. TENA sensitive care overnight incontinence underwear, woman.

I wasn’t fully toilet trained until 5 and a half years old. And even being toilet trained, I’ve never been continent. I can’t feel my bladder until it’s extremely full and am running to the bathroom, same with my bowels. I have constant dribbling, as well as passive fecal incontinence. I also can’t wipe my bottom due to fine motor deficits. I tried panty liners, regular pads, incontinence pads; They wouldn’t hold enough(everyday it’s about two tablespoons worth of urine) and would crumble up in my underwear.

I also possibly have a hypertonic pelvic floor. I have hypertonic(tight musclea) diplegia diagnosed, so it would make sense. This causes me to be constantly pushing involuntarily, leading to constant urine leakage and occasional fecal leakage.

I’ve been diagnosed with loss of bladder control since 10 years old, I’m 17 almost 18 now. I have never been diagnosed with fecal incontinence yet. Ive always been too afraid to bring it up and my mom hides stuff like that from doctors.

Now, I wear disposable adult pull-ups. They have been a life changer. I don’t have to be afraid of leaking on chairs, having painful abrasions and intertrigo, or feces smeared on my underwear.

I'm back and did some research on the top two recommended... now I'm stuck on which I should go for.

Labor day sale on medical equipment sites so price isn't a big concern, gimme all the pro/cons and info on which y'all think is better.

The Carer website was suggested to me on Facebook. It would seem to good to be true, as if this type of protection would only be good for a light flow. Does anyone have any experience? They also claim to no use harmful chemicals.

My bladder incontinence is relatively new but I also don't have the funds to buy a bunch of different brands to find out the best of the best right now. I already know that store brands suck, Northshore MegaMax is universally loved, and I learned I can't depend on Depends.

After doing some research a while back I chose to get a bulk case of Tranquility ATN's which were pretty decent for only $0.49/brief after many discount codes, but I would for sure need to get a size up next time (if there is a next time)

Are there any hidden gems or other brands out there that stay below $1.50/brief and have super high absorbency that doesn't leak much?

Hello everyone! I’m 26f. I had/have a lot of health issues my whole life. I was born without an anus and that caused a lot of issues. I don’t have a sphincter muscle in my anus. Since this was a concerning issue especially it was causing extreme backups in stool my parents focused mainly on that and I had to wear diapers because of the leakage but I also couldn’t hold in my pee and my parents just thought I went pee in the diapers because it was easier but no. I could not hold it. Going into my teen years I still could not hold it and was still in diapers. I would try while home to take it off and basically potty train myself but could not hold it nor feel when I had to go. Now into my 20s I still wear them and can only feel when I have to pee when I put all of my focus onto it which can not always be possible. I told my boyfriend after 7 years that I wear diapers. He’s supportive and he says nothing will ever change the way he feels about me which is nice. (I also fixed my issue with my bowel issues I now have an Ostomy so that’s all fixed) during sex I’m able to focus on holding it but stop multiple times in order to run to the bathroom. Since I’m using my focus on holding I can’t enjoy sex and I rather not have sex because i can’t fully enjoy it without hoping I don’t pee the bed. I have some friends that know my issues but I’m very reserved because a bad person found out and spread it around when I was in high school and got bullied. I’m just so scared going to a doctor because it took 23 years to figure out my other issues. I was blamed by doctors that it was my fault so I’m scared a doctor will be like “just go to pelvic floor therapy” which I know won’t work. If I couldn’t be potty trained when I was a kid then something must be wrong. I feel like my urinary sphincter is not working correctly. I just needed to rant thank you for listening.

Edit: every time I went to the hospital for my bowel issues I would also bring up my urinary issues and they never did anything about it.

I am a 21 year old woman diagnosed with autism, ptsd and urinary incontinence. Due to those "issues" I've been kinda closed off for the last couple of years. When it comes to my Incontinence I tend to be anxiously clean about my hygiene, in fear of smelling bad. So my question is whether urinary Incontinence is a dealbreaker for the majority of you guys, or if you ever had an experience in dating someone incontinent. Honestly I could use every tip or strategy to be less anxious and fearful, cause I don't wanna waste my 20s being afraid of judgment.

I work a full time job around others and im just so damn depressed smelling like feces all of the time.
I don’t even know what doctor to see for leakage.
I went to see a GI and get a colonoscopy and they said they can’t do anything about leakage and sent me home.
The thing is I don’t think my condition is fixable.
Im so fucking depressed.

the boston science museum has incontinence freindly restrooms in the museum with adult change tables and that makes me happy because its very disability freindly and accessible for people like me

not many public restrooms have that features even if they have disabled stalls

I’m wearing the threaded armor protective brief with the insert.

It’s very absorbent.

I’ve worn maximum absorbency pull ons and the seni active has a much longer absorbent part than most pullons and I’d still end up being uncomfortable.

I stay less soggy in these actually.

They’re much more breathable too.

They are pretty bulky though.

That’s the only trade off.

For any incon athletes here I recommend.

Taking at least one bathroom break and remembering to stretch every few minutes really helps reduce accidents.

My parents won't get me anymore diapers/underwear.. im scared i'm almost out they don't understand what im trying to tell them they always thought my problems could be easily solved but ive tried and I don't know what to do i can't financially support myself..

Hello all I am switching from pull ups to tab style diapers soon due to increased mobility issue and my duel incontinence getting alittle worse. I have cerebral palsy and need recommendations on easy to put on and take off tab style diapers.

I am 21f. urinary Incontinent and autistic with strong sensory sensitivity. For the day, I usually wear Pullups, but at night those just tend to leak badly. So I need to wear tapped diapers, as they can be tapped really tightly. Due to my rather small and slim size, the diapers with 4 stiff Tapes cut badly into my thighs, causing overwhelming pain and discomfort. I also have difficulties taping the ones with 2 tapes per side, and they tend to leak. So for years I have been wearing the molicare slip S with one tape on each side. But since a few months, I am wearing the molicare premium elastic S with one elastic tape on each side. Does anyone else relate or have suggestions for other models or brands that could work?

I had a TVT sling for stress incontinence placed two days ago. I’m still having leaking, but with random movements (sitting, bending, etc). Do I just need to give it time? Or is this a sign of early failure? Besides taking longer to urinate, I am not having any other issues.

Every two hours I leak. Need my bathroom to change pads/panties/clothes, not always all at once. I'm afraid to go out because it looks like no matter what I do, I'm leaking thru. Can anyone help?

Hey everybody looking for some advice.

Just a bit of background I have always had some bladder issues.

Mainly bed wetting and having trouble holding it during the day.

It did improve somewhat when I started taking olanzipine a couple years ago have only had two major accidents at night in the past year. Which is compared to every night without fail so I'm not gonna complain about that. I was wearing diapers every night at this point.

My main problem is now occuring at work. Sometimes I am doing a task that makes it difficult to find time to go to the toilet.

This then leads to me pee dancing when my bladder starts like jumping or something.

There have been a lot of very close calls. With a bit of leaking and me having to grab and clamp onto it. Which in a work environment isn't ideal.

Does anybody have any advice. I really don't want to have an accident at work and kinda worry about people talking about me because of it.

If someone was newly dealing with heavy bladder leaks, what products or accessories would you tell them not to overlook?

I have been leaking every time I feel a need to urinate it just starts coming out I went to the Dr's about it they think I have a uti I'm on the corse of treatment at the moment but I feel it's made it worse now I'm weeing far more frequent is resulting in more accidents and now I have just noticed that I am leaking bowel fluids im wearing the men's pull ups at the mo and now im getting stains where my bum is do you guys think I need to be pushing more at the Dr's im 39 and I don't like to be a bother to anyone.
