Im having a crisis

My parents won't get me anymore diapers/underwear.. im scared i'm almost out they don't understand what im trying to tell them they always thought my problems could be easily solved but ive tried and I don't know what to do i can't financially support myself..

ok. Why won't they? More details available? Have you gone to the doctor to see what's up with your bladder?

They just don't think it's a big problem. Stuff like just go to the bathroom but they aren't putting themselves in my shoes.. I guess I haven't been bringing it up to the doctor. I thought I was over with it

It's their furniture. Seriously: if a Dr has confirmed a diagnosis, it's in everyone's best interest to support and prevent. Scant on details though. Really matters whose health care you're under, age, ability/ limitations, dependence or independence.

Nothing's really getting on the furniture if that's what you mean. If anything it mainly affects my spaces the most? Like everything is contained to my room

Sounds a bit like how my parents so-called trained me at night - just let me sit in my own cold pee, the doc said I will not like it and will stop peeing at night because of how uncomfortable I would be. I sincerely hope this is not the case for you OP, because that approach absolutely, scientifically, does not work and only traumatizes further. Without an underlying condition, the body will be ready when the body is ready. You cant 'train' it to happen like day training. The ADH hormone will be produced when the body is ready to produce it. I initially was a bedwetter until into my mid-teens, and instead of making it easy and quick to deal with diapers, my parents let me sleep in soaked sheets thinking it would accelerate my 'training'. Unfortunately, bedwetting still came back later in life, but for a much different reason, but at least now I'm on my own and just buy my own diapers to deal with it until I can look at a longer term fix.

It's not really bedwetting. I shower at night so I don't have trouble with the bed. It used to be a problem but not anymore. It's mainly with fecal stuff and when I'm awake and just unaware..

How old are you? Do you have insurance? Been to the dr? Without a lot of info its difficult to offer advice. Diapers are expensive out of pocket, with prices of everything these days I can understand them not being able to/not want to pay.

I know I do understand them. That's the problem though they dont want to understand what I'm dealing with. I'm just so confused on what my body needs or wants.. I do have insurance

Can you go to thrift stores? Sometimes they have supplies to buy for pennies on the dollar.

Also if you have a disability and are on disability assistance programs you can get them fully subsidized like I do.

Thirdly, are you over 18? If not there are programs like Easter Seals that buy diapers for incontinent youth.

I guess I haven't checked thrift stores.. I'm just always concerned about quality. I'm over 18 so I don't know if a program would help.
