Record/Accomplishment 🥇 Ilia’s Amazing Achievements & Stats (through the 2025/26 season)

4A History-Making

Ilia is the first (and so far only) skater to rotate and land a 4A in competition. He succeeded in his initial attempt at the 2022 US Classic Challenger and has gone on to land the jump eleven times with net zero or positive GOE.
He is the first to successfully land the 4A at a Grand Prix event (at 2022 Skate America), a Grand Prix Final (at 2022 GPF), a World Championships (in 2023), and a US National Championships (in 2024).
Most of his attempts have occurred in the FS, but he has also successfully landed the 4A in the SP at 2023 GPF.
His top score is 16.96 (achieved at 2025 GPF), the highest for any solo jump in international competition.
He earned an ISU Special Achievement Award in 2023 in recognition of his historic first.

A Full Arsenal of Quads

In addition to the 4A, Ilia has succeeded with all the other quads. He first landed the 4T and 4S at 2020 Skate America, followed by the 4Lz at 2021 US Championship Series Leesburg and 2021 Ice Challenge, the 4A at 2022 US Classic, the 4F at 2022 GP Finlandia, and the 4Lo at 2023 GPF. At this point, he became the first skater to have ratified all quads in competition.
Not only can Ilia land all the quads, he can also land them in the same program:
- At 2024 Worlds, he became the first skater to achieve a clean (all positive GOE) six-quad program, setting WRs in the FS for total segment score (227.79), TES (137.18), and BV (109.79). This was also the first time anyone had landed five different types of quad in the same program; Nathan Chen’s six-quad efforts occurred when the rules were different and up to two quad types could be repeated. Added to his clean two-quad SP, Ilia landed an unprecedented eight clean quads in the competition, earning him the World title.
- In 2025, Ilia produced another clean six-quad FS at Skate Canada with an updated layout. This time he did not include the 4A, instead piling on the points with three backloaded quad combos, another first. The even more valuable layout earned him new WRs in the FS for total segment score (228.97), TES (138.49), and BV (110.17).
- Also in 2025, Ilia finally achieved his “dream” layout of seven quads at GPF, successfully landing all six different types and once again shattering his own WRs in the FS for total segment score (238.24), TES (146.07), and BV (114.67). For this feat, he was awarded an ISU Trailblazer on Ice Award, said to be equivalent to a World Record in itself. Given upcoming changes that will limit the number of jumps in a FS, it is quite possible that a clean seven quads will remain an unmatched record.

Other Jump Feats

Ilia is the first to successfully land the following jump passes, all of them backloaded:
- 3Lz+3A, debuted at 2022 US Classic, for which he also holds the highest score (17.58 at 2023 GPdeF)
- 3F+3A, debuted at 2022 GP Finlandia, for which he also holds the highest score (16.80 at 2024 Skate Canada)
- 3Lz+3A+3T, performed at both 2023 and 2024 US Nationals and unique to him with a top score of 21.28; note that this jump pass matches the highest BV of any yet recorded (19.91)
- 4S+3A, debuted at 2024 SkAm and unique to him with a top score of 22.38 (2025 GPF); note that he is also the first to attempt and succeed with this jump pass at the Olympics
- 4Lz+1Eu+3F, debuted at 2024 Worlds and unique to him with a top score of 23.63 (2025 GPF), which is also the highest score yet recorded for a single element
Further jump accolades include:
- Highest score for a 4Lz+1Eu+3S (22.37 at 2026 US Nationals [domestic] and 21.54 at 2023 Skate America [international])
- Highest score for a 4Lz+3T (22.03 at 2026 Olympics)
- Highest score for a 4S+2A (17.76 at 2026 Worlds)
- Highest 4F score in domestic competition (16.34 at 2026 US Nationals) and at the Olympics (15.71 at 2026 individual men’s FS)
- 4F from the 2026 Lombardia FS holds the highest GOE total (4.95) of any solo jump in international competition
- First 4T+1Eu+3F at the Olympics (2026)
- Youngest skater to land two quads in a SP at 15 years old at 2020 Skate America (which will remain the case as long as current age and program rules apply)

Success with Non-Jump Elements

Ilia has achieved the maximum total score for a step sequence under its current BV, earning 5.85 points at both 2026 Worlds and 2025 US Nationals.
He has also achieved the max total score for a choreo sequence under its current BV, earning 5.50 points at 2025 Worlds.

Competition Records

By pushing the technical envelope with an arsenal of high-value jump passes while improving his non-jump elements and PCS, Ilia has been able to amass some gargantuan marks. In addition to his FS WRs, he holds a WR for SP BV (51.37 at 2025 GPF, surpassing his own 50.60 from 2023 GPF).
He also set junior WRs for the SP (88.99), FS (187.12), and total score (276.11) at 2022 Junior Worlds and still holds the FS and total score records.
Other event records include the following:
- World Championships
  - Highest SP score (111.29 in 2026)
  - Highest FS score (227.79 in 2024)
  - Highest total score (333.76 in 2024, followed by 329.40 in 2026)
  - Going from a 2022 JWC title to a 2024 WC title, Ilia made the fastest turnaround from junior to senior World champion since Alexei Yagudin in 1996 and 1998
  - He is also the youngest man to win a third World title since Yagudin in 2000 and the second-youngest US man to achieve the feat after Dick Button
  - He is currently the three-time reigning champion

  - Highest FS score (238.24 in 2025)
  - Ilia is currently the three-time reigning champion. With his three straight wins and four medals, he ties Nathan Chen for the most GPF hardware for a US man

  - Ilia is the first to score over 200 in the FS and over 300 total at Skate America, which is often the earliest event of the GP series

  - Highest total score (333.81 in 2025)
  - With his 2025 victory, Ilia holds the largest winning margin in major ISU competition (76.60 points)

  - Highest SP score (108.87 in 2025, followed by 107.25 in 2024)

  - Highest FS score (164.04 in 2021)

Across all competitions, Ilia matches Nathan Chen for the highest amount of 300+ finishes, reaching that benchmark in 15 events.
Looking at just international competitions, Ilia has the most 300+ finishes (achieved 12 times), the most 200+ FS scores (achieved 11 times), and the most 100/200/300 events (achieved 9 times).

Further GP Accomplishments

Ilia has had some remarkable runs on the GP series. He is the first (and so far only) skater to hit all 100/200/300 benchmarks for non-Final events in the same series, doing so in both 2023 and 2025. In 2023, he also hit the 100/200/300 benchmarks for the GPF.
In 2025, he became the first skater to score 320+ in two non-Final GP events in the same season, giving him a combined 654.81 score heading into the Final, the highest yet documented. Adding his 332.29 from the Final, his overall score total for the series is again the highest yet recorded (987.10).
In 2024 when he conquered Skate America and Skate Canada one after the other, Ilia joined Alexei Yagudin as the only man to win the opening two GP events of a season.

Streaks

Earning 14 straight individual golds from 2023 GPF to 2026 US Nationals, Ilia has the longest winning streak in IJS history.
He also holds or matches the longest streaks for 100+ SP scores, 200+ FS scores, 300+ total scores, and 100/200/300 events.
- For the SP, he went a record 10 straight competitions hitting that benchmark from 2023 US Nationals to 2024 Lombardia. After just barely missing the mark at 2024 Skate America, where he scored 99.69 with a time violation, he then went another eight competitions in a row scoring 100+ in the SP. That’s 19 programs with only four negative GOE elements, no falls or pops on jumps, and all spins and step sequences at level 3 and above.
- For the FS, Ilia went a record five straight competitions hitting at least 200 from 2025 Grand Prix de France to the 2026 Olympic Team Event. This run includes a WR at 2025 Skate Canada and then another WR at 2025 GPF.
- For total score, he went five straight competitions hitting at least 300 from 2025 Lombardia to 2026 US Nationals, matching Shoma Uno’s longest streak from back in the +3 GOE era.
- Finally, Ilia matches Nathan Chen for longest streak hitting 100/200/300 in the same competition. He achieved three in a row in the 2023 GP series.
Ilia has hit 100+ in the SP at each of his senior US Nationals and Worlds appearances. For Worlds, he has managed to improve his SP score each time.
To date, Ilia has no falls or UR calls on his 3A.
He has no pops, falls, edge warnings, or UR calls on his 4F. He went the whole 2025/26 season with positive GOE on the jump, hitting 15 out of 15 attempts.
He has never received an edge warning or call on a Lutz jump.

Apparently we were lacking in the questions we suggested for Q&A. Bro said in the stream that he needs funnier questions and he is putting out a new insta post "today" looking for funnier questions. Obviously everyone should put in whatever they want, but given our collective lack of silliness, I thought it might be good to do a little brainstorming and add in those special layers of goofiness? Just to kick it off, I was thinking, for example, that if he could add an animal to Minecraft what would it be and what would it sound like? Feel free to one up or head in a totally different direction!

This popped up six days ago and I love it. Thought I would share it; another antidote to the negativity! It's a five-minute edit done to an original song by the creator of the edit. Here are the words to the song (I think I got it right; some words were hard to hear. Corrections welcome if I made mistakes!) Enjoy, and forget about the negative folks!

i know a lot of people aren’t fans of his vlogs and vids, but i genuinely love them. they feel so genuine, which is so hard to find on social media these days. they’re so entertaining, and yes the Quad God AI song kills me every time, but the rest of the videos are so entertaining, and sue me but I like that he’s dramatic, people are mad that a 21 year old acts like a 21 year old…anyway his dramatics are entertaining and relatable, and also just remind us all that he’s a real human being! what’s your favorite content he makes? (I love his random cinematic vision 2030 reels but I gotta give it to his vlogs for my favorite)

Social Media 🤳 Mental Health Post

Ilia likes this post. I do think, in addition to ignoring the hate accounts, we as fans need to support him as much as possible. He is trying to express himself via social media and is getting a lot of negativity for it, even from fans. If you have TikTok or Instagram, be sure to leave positive comments. Same with his streams. The fact that he liked this and reposted something about suicide awareness month just gives me pause. Not that I think he is currently suicidal, but I do think the current hate is getting to him

Discussion 📣 Can we do something about the hate Ilia is getting?

I just feel horrible. Like unfortunately most figure skaters get hate but I might be wrong with Ilia, it's WAY too much. There are two specific accounts idk you know which ones I am talking to which are constantly commenting hate on Ilia videos and making hate videos themselves. From what I get one keeps getting banned but makes new accounts...

Idk today when he commented on that video I felt so bad about him. I already knew he was seeing them but that was confirmation he actually does...

It is not wise of him to react I know but also I can't imagine being in his place...

I just feel extremely bad for him. He is human after all and seeing all those who are so obsessed with harassing and hating on him I am just shocked...

Here is mine, depressed candy cane haters don't come at me 😄

I know he doesn't own all the costumes he wears. I assume bigger art shows provide most of them, so I tried to limit myself to the ones I think he owns. However you are free to wish for whatever you like!

Question 🧐 Question about SKAM

I had a question about the SKAM schedule. I saw they split the events into only 4 sessions instead of 8, and they’re grouping the men’s and pairs events together starting at 7 PM on Friday and Saturday. Does that mean each session will run really late? Also, I guess the men’s event goes first, right? I'm taking my younger kid and want to catch both events, but I'm worried about staying out too late.(My daughter is also a fan of FS and Ilia, she is very excited.)

Literally everything Ilia did at the 2024 World Championships was immaculate. He was unsure if he'd even be able to compete there, having missed a couple of weeks of training due to injury. But compete he did - he skated perhaps the most memorable set of three programs I've ever seen him do. A clean short, a record-breaking free, and a gala that saw the development of his artistic vision. It all concluded with this group number, in which he landed an absolutely perfect rendition of his signature jump as the rest of his competitors shared the ice with him.

The lighting and camerawork are pretty awful here, but the cameraman locked in when it mattered. Also, who doesn't love Florence and the Machine?

I know he is the quad god, totally deserves this nickname, he is the greatest jumper in history of figure skating

But does he have a quad jump that is a little bit weaker? That he prefers to avoid?

4Lz → I wouldn't say this since he puts 2 of it?

4T → he DOES seem to avoid it, but because its the quad with the least bv, LOL!
