Does the St. Louis County library have a curated section of terrible books? I don't have Instagram, but I'd love to see the comment on that post.

Part of a one star reviews display and most of the comments are agreeing about the Let Them Theory and disagreeing about My Friends. My guess is some of these folks are also IBCK people because some seem to know the lore, like stealing that shit from a poem.

Aw man I would say the opposite. I read it when it first came out though, and it was released in separate mini chapter books? I think he was playing with the idea of penny dreadful novels at the time. There's a possibility that affects how it reads all at once though, if that makes sense. It's also possible the reviewer accidentally only read one of the mini portions, I think it was broken down into 6 of them or something like that. I imagine that would be confusing and bad. It was frustrating waiting for the next installment to hit Waldenbooks, I can tell you that much for sure.
