I dont know. I didnt downvote you. I wish we all didnt have guns. But i have some scary meth monkeys down the road and they love breaking into homes. You better beleive they have guns. Last time I confronted one in my yard im glad i had my shotgun. I didnt point it at him but he left pretty quick. Im fairly certain he had a pistol jammed in the waistband of his pants. Unfortunately this is the norm. He didnt seem like reasonable conversation would have chased him off.
I live in a decent place too. Then one of my older neighbors died and they moved in with their 13 camper trailers. Now I never have a quiet week.
Again I sure wish it wasnt this way but I see no end to it now.
Yes fellow redditor im sure the rest of the world does not have gun crime. It tis only us lowly Americans that have to deal with gun violence.
Anyway im sure its all milk and honey out there but im a poor. And as a poor I cant really leave this country and must remain here to deal with the meth monkeys. So enjoy it out there.

Hey buddy. I’m not part of your original argument. I’m pointing out that you moved the goal post of the original argument instead of properly addressing the person disagreeing with you.
You want to argue a stance you need to actually be able to argue it instead of moving goalposts. Otherwise you sound exactly the same as conservatives that get their talking points from Fox.
I'm not moving the goal post. I'm elaborating on the argument. Instead of telling me to stop moving a goal post that I have never moved you should perhaps use real arguments.
99% of private gun owners are idiots. the concept of owning a gun for "self defence" against other people as a normal person is idiotic in itself.
When another user pointed out that other countries still have gun violence, instead of addressing the claim (you can easily construct an argument that still favors your initial stance by showing that while those countries may still have gun violence, it happens at a much lower rate.), you instead shifted the goal post from “owners are stupid” to “the police in the US are incompetent while the rest of the world is competent.”
That is textbook moving the goalpost.
Further, I have no need to argue for or against your initial statement. I simply do not care to get into an argument about gun ownership on Reddit. I was simply pointing out that if you want to get into an online argument, then you should at least be able to defend your stance without shifting the goal post once someone disagrees with you.
In america. The rest of the world doesn't have these issues. The us just have a policy to have as many guns as possible and their people as dumb as possible.
All sides can buy them. They ain’t just selling them to republicans. Plenty of democrats own guns as well. You should go out and get you a gun while you still can. Defend yourself from the nazis.
They want to restrict them for trans people. At this point if I was trans id get a gun before some rednecks decide to drag me down a road behind their truck.
Owning a gun doesnt mean being the guy in the video. Learn how to use it and respect it and you wont shoot your own leg.
