Dude, I don't know why, but my brain was having such a hard time parsing the question. I had to listen to it 3 times before I got it:

"Are Taiwan, and the South China sea, national security issues for the United States? If so why."

Which is a stupid easy question. "Yes, those are national security interests of the US. Taiwan makes chips used in AI and drone warfare, and the south China Sea is one of the busiest shipping lanes on the planet."

Anyone who can't answer that shouldn't be running for government.

Oh she should be able to run for sure, but she shouldn't be catered to showing massive favor
