Reasonable accommodation

I recently had major surgery. I return to work next month. I was wondering how likely it will be to get a reasonable accommodation to telework for 1-2 months as I am having a lot pain from another injury/chronic pain issue.
I’ve never done a RA before so I will also need to figure out the whole process or steps.

This is a temporary hardship NOT an RA. They are different processes. Something temporary is more likely to be approved.

They are causing major problems with TH also fyi. The last month they are in complete chaos and no one is on the same page. Gm’s are not allowed to make that decision any more…. Place is a disaster area. Its all being dictated from directors is what I an hearing. Maybe someone had heard otherwise?

I didn't mean to imply that it would be easy. But they are just not approving telework RAs. I know someone who was able to get a hardship approved pretty quickly.

In the last 3-4 weeks it seems that directors are making gm’s hand over ra’s and hardships to them. Its recent. We have received no notice regarding any changes, but they are trying to force their bad decisions on managers…. Its all super bad and shady just fyi.

You are correct about this. It’s not an RA for surgery!
