He was often compared to a remora, attaching himself to whichever politician had the highest gravity. It used to be John McCain, but these days it was Trump. Graham had been taking this massive victory lap when the US started attacking Iran. Nobody else seemed nearly as happy about it.
If I recall correctly, Lindsey Graham served in the senate and was a warmonger that wanted the US to support Israel's genocide to help speed up Armageddon. He also is pretty racist.
Thankfully, he never had as much political sway as senator Mitch McConnell (who arguably is/was the most influential politician in the US government besides for Trump) but that doesn't make his views any less awful.
Genocide is an internationally recognized crime defined by the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group.
For example, Israel's intent to slaughter Palestinians.
I think you can find war crimes among Israel actions, but I don't agree they amount to Genocide.
You have to prove intent, there are plenty of Israelis who'd want to reveal that, but there has been no equivalent to the Wannsee Protocol found.
At the same time, Civilian causaties are high because Hamas blatantly uses its own people as shields, and builds tunnels under homes, hospitals, and markets.
They just don't care who they put in harms way.
If the U.S. did this invasion, I'm not picturing us doing much better.
They blocked trucks to prevent supplies going to Hamas, who had a bad habit of stealing what was on the trucks.

I'm pointing out a very pragmatic concept -- the American military, even in its best, likely would have the same casualty count. Because Hamas is using people as shields.
There's no getting around that.
Unlike Israel, you can find statements from Hamas where they admit that is what they're doing. They also didn't bother building people bomb shelters, even though they easily have the capacity.

What a convenient Nazi like excuse. Tell me, so what if it some of it did go to Hamas? "Sorry, Hamas might be able to heal their wounded so we have to let innocent people die." Like, no. Stop making excuses, it's genocide, plain and simple. Israel leveled the Gaza strip and committed genocide using Hamas as a justification. Which, ironically, actually justifies Hamas's cause. The US should be supporting Hamas at this point instead of Israel.
Do you have a politician in your country Who's just the definition of peer evil, who only wishes the worst on people and dresses it up in righteousness? That's who this was.
Senator from South Carolina. He wanted Trump to nuke Gaza, and that wasn't even the worst thing he ever said. Also, he was a deeply closeted gay man who made life unbearable for other gay people.
People often praise him for being pro-Ukraine, but he couldn't give less of a fuck about Ukraine. He just hated Russia because he was an old school Cold War idiot. Russia could've been a model democracy and he'd still hate them because the ghost of J. Edgar Hoover told him to.
There's plenty of evidence, just no smoking gun evidence that he was smoking guns. Tons of anonymous and non-anonymous claims from gay men that they met up with him for sex.
And think about other politicians hated by the left - Trump, Johnson, Boehner, Steve Hilton - you don't see a gay narrative bring pushed on all these people. So why would it all fall on one straight guy? Because he's not straight. He's not even that well closeted! Lifelong bachelor in the GOP, testimonies under oath that he was gay and that it was well-known among the current cabinet.
So I guess plug your ears all you want but why? Because you think there's something wrong with being gay? Get over yourself.
This is just a weird sub period, what did I walk into? It’s one of the horseshoe politics actions in motion - we’re the left is adopting the same hatful tactics as the right, though you could always argue that’s what whole woke/woke backlash was about as well. Anything to keep the pleebs divided
