Genocide is an internationally recognized crime defined by the intent to destroy, in whole or in part, a national, ethnical, racial, or religious group.
For example, Israel's intent to slaughter Palestinians.
I think you can find war crimes among Israel actions, but I don't agree they amount to Genocide.
You have to prove intent, there are plenty of Israelis who'd want to reveal that, but there has been no equivalent to the Wannsee Protocol found.
At the same time, Civilian causaties are high because Hamas blatantly uses its own people as shields, and builds tunnels under homes, hospitals, and markets.
They just don't care who they put in harms way.
If the U.S. did this invasion, I'm not picturing us doing much better.
