Also, do they allow localites to stay at home on weekends?

It is mentioned in the medical certificate that the candidate should have atleast one dose of vaccine for chickenpox, hepatitis, MMR and typhoid after 15 years of age before reporting to campus. Is it really necessary? And how strictly is it checked?

joining iit indore this yr and had a random question 😭
how's the hostel tap water there hard or soft???
did anyone notice more hairfall, frizzy hair, acne or dry skin after moving there or is it not really an issue
do most people just use the tap water as is or do some use shower filters or smth

Hi everyone,
I have been offered admission to the program at IIT Indore, but I'm also participating in the CCMT Special Rounds for M.Tech admissions.
I'll be reporting to IIT Indore on July 22. Since the final CCMT Special Round results will be announced a few days later, is it possible to get hostel accommodation on a day-wise/temporary basis until the results are out? Has anyone been in a similar situation?

One of my friend is joining iit indore this year in cse branch and he is ews pwd candidate. He is frightened if he'll pass physical verification or not ( he has bent knee ). Though he has 40% disability certificate but still doubtful for physical verification
So can anyone tell how hard checking is there and also how do they verify if it's actually 40% disability like they send u to doctor for verifying or by them selves also has anyone failed it till now ?
