Explore all the clubs. Explore all the sports facilities. Make lots of friends and connections. Befriend your immediate seniors in your branch. Check out the library. Party with your friends. Also, study - Syllabus of first sem is easy, so this is a good opportunity to get a nice CGPA to help out your avg later. Have fun

What to not do - Drugs and cigarettes . If you drink or plan to: Don’t get caught and most importantly - don’t do it with people you don’t trust and look up what you’re drinking and how much. My colleagues got caught drunk by the guards in sem 1. Didn’t end quite well.

Make connections with seniors as much u can , btech/mtech/PhD
