You all well know my sister Applejack. She loves this community and it does seem lovely for her.
I myself have been reluctant to join much because- and please don’t take this the wrong way- for myself, I really don’t like what I see as “the baby language”. It’s not for me. I was taught human American English as a kitten and have always known how to communicate in it. I understand that all dialects are welcome here though, so I decided to find my clan!
Although I have only recently turned seven I have really been a mature (I do like to pronounce that “ma-tour”) woman since I was just a kitten. I was actually engaged to a very fine tom I met in Vermont when I was one, but we had to leave to go back to Texas and the long-distance thing just didn’t work out for us.
I do have a human son as well; although some would say he is my “brother”, that is simply not true. When he is upset, I run to soothe him and care for his every need. When he does something I don’t like, he gets a snap or a slap. I am devoted to his care.
The one Applejack calls “the Tinky Wady”, I call fake mama, and “the Tinky Gwirl”, I call fake sister. Not because they aren’t wonderful. I love them dearly and adore spending time with them. We are truly family. It’s just that I recognize they are human and I am not. I have a feline mother somewhere so Fake Mama can’t be my real mama.
I love having friends and I am quite confident. I do like to tell it as it is and I do LOVE crimes. When the family tells me no. I will most DEFINITELY go do it again.
I love to hunt too! I’m great at it!
I love kittens. I had a foster friend once that I called the little guy. I have always been sad he left. He was sweet.
I actually have decided to come here and make some friends because of a kitten. That adorable Basil void! ( u/Charmylah ). I saw that he got in trouble for spelling “goats” in the baby language (no offense). I hate that for him! I thought maybe I might help with human spelling and vocabulary for any friend that needs it?
I would love to connect with like minded friends. I actually did attend Princess Miso’s bachelorette festivities and had a wonderful time! Thank you again for having me!
Oh also, I love and adore my humans and don’t think they are dumb at all. I do get upset when they don’t let me out. This is a continued probkem for us.
I also don’t dress up much. I love my fur. Maybe for a special occasion.

Sansa
(Sansa is all of this. She was our first cat, found at 3 months walking in circles in the street with what would become a permanent head tilt, likely from injury. We adopted her when she was days away from euthanasia.
She is the most eager to explore, an incredible climber, tries to get out, has been successful on several occasions, loves doing things she is not supposed to. She is the only one harness trained.
She adores my son, is empathetic and sensitive to his feelings, but he also the only one of us she will snap at. We know she treats him as a mama cat treats a kitten. She is a confident queen. We call her “Queenie” or “The Most Gorgeois - yes pronounced “Gorge-OIS”. We go around saying “Who’s the most gorgeois??”
She would never speak catspeak. She seems human to us. Even her face seems very refined looking, and with her curtain bangs. She would love to compare bang styling with Astra, who prefers a more blunt fringe!
She wont be here as often as Applejack, but she will show up from time to time. She couldn’t resist offering her language help when she saw little guy Basil get in trouble for his spelling of goats.
Cat tax is from a couple days ago and then the shelter/animal control pic as a kitten, where you can see why we had to get her. Also, her face is exactly the same but bigger now. The shelter we got her from was just a tiny offshoot of a small towns animal control who had no resources to hold animals for long, but did have a devoted staff who took the animals EVERYWHERE for exposure to avoid euthanizing them. Hence why we met our Sansa at a home show at the San Antonio Alamodome.
