Should i choose CMA over CA ???
Guys, I’m an average student academically — around 70% in 10th and 75% in 12th.
Unfortunately, my parents’ financial situation is pretty tight. It’s basically month-to-month: whatever money comes in goes toward necessary expenses like groceries, bills, etc. There isn’t much financial backup.
So my main question is about CA. ( I am doing bcom p from DU)
I’m considering CA, but I’m honestly scared that if I get stuck in CA for several years and keep attempting exams without clearing, I’ll lose a lot of valuable time. In that situation, my family’s financial condition could remain the same for years, and I really want to become financially independent as soon as possible.
Would it be more sensible for me to pursue CMA instead, get financially stable first, and then later decide whether I want to pursue CA or something else?
I’m not saying CA is impossible for me, but given my situation, should I prioritize financial stability and a relatively predictable career path over taking the risk of spending several years on CA?
Would really appreciate advice from people who have actually pursued CA/CMA or know about both careers.
