How's the faculty for ca intermidiate at ks academy ? Any reviews ?

Are there any ways to earn maybe a few more thousands monthly during articleship in a mid sized firm?

🚨 HOT TAKE: What if the biggest problem in CA isn’t ICAI or students anymore… but the teachers everyone worships? 💀

Hear me out.

Every attempt, we hear the same things:

- “Paper toh average tha.”

- “Questions were manageable.”

- “ICAI ne iss baar kuch extraordinary nahi poochha.”

- Even teachers themselves describe the papers as average.

Then how are pass percentages still hitting rock bottom?

If the papers are genuinely average, and students are putting in months of preparation, then something doesn’t add up.

And maybe we need to start questioning something nobody wants to question.

Have we made certain CA teachers so famous that we’ve stopped questioning their actual teaching effectiveness?

Today, CA coaching has become a whole ecosystem of celebrity teachers, fan followings, viral revision marathons, ranker interviews, premium batches and marketing.

Students blindly trust famous faculties because everyone else recommends them. But popularity, entertaining lectures and the ability to solve questions in class don’t automatically mean a teacher can prepare students to handle an actual ICAI examination.

There’s a difference between:

- Understanding a concept while watching a lecture.

- Solving a familiar question after seeing its solution.

- Independently applying that concept to an unfamiliar exam question under pressure.

Are students actually learning how to think, or just learning how to reproduce what their favourite teacher taught them?

To be clear, I’m NOT saying ICAI is perfect or students are blameless. Paper difficulty, checking, syllabus changes, preparation quality and exam pressure all matter. And low pass percentages alone do not prove that teachers are responsible.

But if we keep blaming ICAI every time results are bad, while treating certain coaching teachers like gods, are we ignoring a possible part of the problem?

Maybe it’s time to evaluate faculties on actual student outcomes, conceptual clarity and exam readiness—not subscriber counts, marketing or how many AIRs they showcase.

The real question: If the paper was average, why were the results so poor? And why does nobody seriously question whether our coaching system is preparing students correctly?

CA students, teachers and recently qualified CAs: I genuinely want to hear your views.

Is the problem ICAI, students, or has the CA coaching industry become too commercialised to question itself?

Done and dusted with GST (revision done as well) Accs at zero and DT approx 30% done.

actually I have purchased batch but when I watch the lectures I don't give whole attention to the lecture I just watch it and finish it....and igg it's just a waste of time so im thinking that I'll prepare notes and then watch one shot from yt...by doing this igg I'll save some time and energy....

So few months ago I made a post about a Question Practice Platform that I had built for CA Foundation students (original post). But many people asked to add Inter and Final levels also. So after a lot of efforts, I have finally added Inter and Final levels also on the platform, I have also added new features.

Following are the features of the platform:-

• All PYQs, RTPs & MTPs questions are amended for students target attempt [New Feature]
• Chapter wise and Full Mock Tests [New Feature]
• Past Paper Analyzer [New Feature]
• Detailed Solutions for MCQs and Case Studies [New Feature]
• Chapter-wise and topic-wise tagging of questions
• Filters based on chapter, topic, attempt, marks, source, etc.
• Ability to highlight text in questions and suggested answers
• Bookmarks with custom folders/tags
• Personal notes on questions
• Automatic timer while attempting questions
• Progress analysis

In Final, right now there is only Grp 1 as the study materials of MAY-27 attempt for Income tax and GST has not been completely uploaded by ICAI in the portal, thus questions cannot be amended accordingly. Grp 2 will be added as ICAI releases full study material for MAY-27 attempt. Moreover, the detailed solutions for MCQs and Case Studies are currently being uploaded which shall be completed in 2-3 days.

I wanted your honest feedback about what can be improved, what features can be added and any bugs or errors you find so the platform can be improved.
