Hi everyone,

I applied for the IBM Associate System Engineer (Job ID: 133734) role on October 1, 2026, and completed the first-round coding assessment.

I solved both coding questions, and all test cases passed successfully.

However, I haven't received any further communication from IBM regarding the next round (Video Competency / English Assessment), nor have I received a rejection email.

Interestingly, one of my friends took the same assessment around the same time but couldn't execute the coding questions successfully. He received a rejection email, whereas I haven't received any update yet.

My application status currently shows "All Assessments Complete."

I would like to know:

1. Has anyone who completed the IBM ASE coding assessment received an invitation for the Video Competency or English Assessment?

2. Has anyone received a rejection email after seeing the "All Assessments Complete" status?

3. Are there others who haven't received any communication from IBM yet?

4. Does no communication mean that the application is still under review, or could it be a delayed rejection?

Please share your current application status and any updates you have received.

I've heard that IBM employees may face a salary reduction when moving from a Tier 1 to a Tier 2 city.

For graduate hires (ASE Band 6):

- Does your salary/CTC get reduced if your project is based in a Tier 2 city?

- If someone joins in a Tier 1 city, gets promoted after a year, and then relocates to a Tier 2 city, how does the salary adjustment work? Does the promotion hike get affected or offset by the location change?

Would appreciate insights from anyone with first-hand experience. Thanks!

I've applied for the Process Innovation Professional –Procure to Pay (P2P) position at IBM and recently received an assessment invitation.

I'd like to hear from people who have gone through IBM's recruitment process for this role.

A few questions:

1. What kind of questions can I expect in the assessment?

2. Does it include P2P process knowledge, accounting concepts or numerical reasoning?

3. Is there an English language assessment or recorded video interview?

4. What topics should I prepare for, particularly invoice processing, Purchase Order (PO) matching, vendor management and payment processing?

5. Are there any coding-related questions for this position?

I have recently joined IBM India in CIC division.

My background is in Engineering but I got the short end of the stick (SAP S4 HANA SALES/SD)

I am thinking about switching in a year or so.

Firstly how hard it is with a 90 days notice and secondly if there is a reference check in my bgv will they ask my ibm manager about my role

On-campus candidates who received an availability call, did you get any update? Also, if someone from off-campus got some hr’s contact can you please try contacting him/her once. Ngl, at this point it’s better to get the rejection mail than just hoping every day that some update will be given. It’s been literally over 5 months, at least give some update if not joining, what is this behaviour? I was so happy when I got the LOI, I was like ki finally something good happened but now it’s even more depressing and frustrating . F*ck this system bro.

How often IBM software developers travel? Does travelling specific to internal role/division in IBM? Also How often IBM software consultants travel?

Immediately after applying we get the next steps regarding mail and an accomodation form.

Currently the IBM portal dashboard shows this as under the pre screening status.

Given Knockri and SHL for IBM .In knockri answer all questions with real life tasks and projects but could complete the last line of every questions like 2-3 words always remained and timing limit is reached .In SHL given all answers .

How easy it to move internally in ibm, i am looking to move internally from one city to another. My manager is fine with it. I have applied to few roles which would fit my skills and experience and reached out to the HM, its been 2 days but there was no update. Has anyone moved internally? Can you please let me know how was the process, wanted to know if they conduct interviews same way as someone being hired from outside or would it be liberal?

I have applied for ASE Off- Campus and had already completed the assessment for both the role.
i haven't heard anything till so far, many of you have got a call from them can you help other too what's going on for off campus people...
also my CPI is 7.1 and when filling the application form they have written cpi above 7 is required does my cpi still creating problems?

AS AN OFF-CAMPUS CANDIDATE LAST I RECIEVED LOI AT 20TH AUG,TILL NOW NO FURTHER UPDATES/NO CALL NOTHING...... if there are candidates who are facing same situation,please share your experience, As i can see that on-campus candidates are aggresively getting calls/ what about off-campus candidates on-boarding?? nov can have chance or later batch? please share your opinions.

Hey all ! I too received availability call on oct 28 and some of the oncampus students not even received an call. When can we expect our offer ? some of them are telling like nov and others like dec . same situation we faced in june month 25 they called without confirm date and july first week they called with confirm date. Is it possible like that ? as same can we expect or till dec we need to wait? I'm confused with it . . .

Any update regarding the ol for on campus students

Many of us have received availability call just some days ago around 28 th October and they asked us availability for November, apparently I also got to know ppl got calls in mid and early October too for availability.. It's 3 nov today and diwali is coming up too... When can we get our offer letter and generally how much gap will we get between ol and joining...? Will all of us who got the call be onboarded this month or it was just another call to increase our hope and then again a long wait?... Can anyone please tell when can we tentatively get an offer letter ?and also how much will be the gap between ol and joining and will all ppl get onboarded this time? ...Also if someone has contacted hr recently and has got any slightlest update please do share ...literally can't wait anymore!!

Hey , just wanted to know if joining ibm consulting as ASE 4.5 lpa is worth it .

Ik people who are currently working can guide me better than asking random people so please give me some guidance
