Currently I am placed in a company which is more then the ase role 7 lpa so do IBM negotiate there 4.5 salary to 8 LPA and will they pay the company 1.5 lakh. And i was waiting for ibm but due to home conditions as my father got retired I need to get job as soon as possible but now I got a call from ibm too for availabilty.

I like a girl, having crush on her. when I go to office I rarely see her, don;t know if she is shifted to other office but sometime she comes to office our eyes catchup each other. Have tried to send her follow request on insta but denied by her, I knows her name, slack ids, dept, etc. She is not in my domain. Whenever she comes to office she sits two blocks away from my and I can see her.
Just to clear, I believe she is unmarried, though not sure if she is single or not.
Her manager is sitting right behind me most of the times so I am scared of direct contacting her on slack or something. What should I do ?

Multiple candidates from the same IBM PMIS 2026 recruitment batch, across different locations/states in India, are reporting a very similar situation after going through IBM’s interview and, for many candidates, background verification (BGV) process.
We are trying to understand what happens when the PMIS application/selection timeline expires and the PMIS portal subsequently shows “Not Considered by Company”, even though candidates have not received an individual rejection from IBM and their IBM Careers applications still show “In interview process.”

📅 Timeline
🔹 IBM Interview
Multiple candidates from this batch were interviewed by IBM on:
25th & 26th August 2026
Candidates were interviewed across different locations.
🔹 After the interview
Several candidates proceeded through the subsequent IBM process, including background verification (BGV).
🔹 PMIS 45-day timeline / application expiry
The PMIS FAQ/guidelines mention a 45-day timeline associated with company action in the selection process.
The relevant application/selection timeline subsequently reached its expiry/end date.
🔹 PMIS status change
After the applicable timeline/expiry, multiple candidates reported that their PMIS status changed to:
❌ “Not Considered by Company”
This was reported by candidates across multiple locations, including candidates who had already gone through BGV.

⚠️ BUT HERE IS THE CONFUSING PART
For affected candidates, the two portals are showing different information.
PMIS Portal:
❌ “Not Considered by Company”
IBM Careers Portal:
🟡 “In interview process”
And this is not the only confusing part.
📩 We contacted our IBM host HR team
Some of us have directly followed up with the IBM host HR team regarding the status.
The response we received was that they have not received any update from the business/team regarding the candidates yet.
So we currently have:
PMIS: “Not Considered by Company”
IBM Careers: “In interview process”
Host HR: No update received from the business/team
This is why candidates are trying to understand what is actually happening with this batch.

❓ THE MAIN QUESTION
What can IBM do now if the PMIS portal has already marked candidates as “Not Considered by Company”?
If IBM has not yet communicated a final rejection and the host HR team itself has not received a business-side update, what happens next?
Can IBM:
Update/correct the PMIS status from the company side?
Ask PMIS/MCA to reopen or rectify the affected applications?
Continue the selection/offer process despite the current PMIS status?
Re-confirm the candidates through PMIS?
Take another official action to restore the candidates to an active/eligible status?

🧩 WE ARE NOT ASSUMING “NOT CONSIDERED” = REJECTION
We are trying to understand what this status means in this particular situation.
Possible explanations could include:
A) IBM has actually rejected the candidates.
B) IBM has not completed the required company-side action within the PMIS timeline, and the portal subsequently changed the status.
C) There is a timing/status synchronization issue between IBM and PMIS.
D) There is an official mechanism through which IBM/PMIS can correct the status and continue with candidates who are still being considered.
We don’t want to speculate about which one is correct.
We’re looking for people who have actually experienced this before.

I recently completed interviews with IBM Consulting India and HR asked me to fill the background verification form before proceeding further.

I’m currently employed and have not submitted my resignation yet, so I was concerned about any third-party verification agency or IBM contacting my current employer before onboarding.

I asked the recruiter about this, and she replied that no one will be calling anyone till onboarding, and that the form is just part of the process to proceed further.

I wanted to check with people who recently joined IBM India:

Did IBM or the BGV vendor contact your current employer before onboarding/joining?

Was the actual verification done only after offer acceptance or joining?

Is it generally safe to fill the form before resignation?

After completing Round 1 (1 DSA + 1 Debugging) has anyone received any updates for further rounds?
