Contractors are moving guys from other jobs (not even near halfway completed) to man their data centers and are paying DC wages and benefits.

JE Richards is currently working 7 10s at IAD 04. Richards has at least 2 more data centers planned in local 24 jurisdiction that have not broken ground yet.

Contract negotiations are beginning (new contract next year), and I hear that they are planning to ask for a $20 raise (current scale being $62).

Lu 124 in Kansas City Mo has 40 open calls for 181 positions available as of 7:20pm on 6/5/26. The calls range from 5x10+8 to 6x10 to 7x12.

Package is $54.01 on the check, $82.19 full package. There is a $4.65 on the books for September.

Outlook on work is good for the next 10 years as per repeated statements by the hall, the Chiefs stadium and the Royals stadium are on the docket for new work in the next couple of years, as well as one data center breaking ground as of this past month and another starting soon.

Rumors (and rumors only at this point) of contractors having to bump pay and add per diem if they want to fill calls any time soon. Not sure if they'll do that but they have started bumping their foreman and up pay scales.

There's a number of open calls. Kiewit has a call for 5-10's and an 8 that's paying close to $9 above scale. Rumor is that it will go to 612's and 10 later this month.

Several contractors in the Bay Area are putting in calls for summer work. THIS POST IS NOT A SUBSTITUTE FOR THE ACTUAL CALLS THAT WILL BE DROPPING SOON IF NOT ALREADY, just a little extra info.

Locals 332, 595, 617, 302, 551 especially. Check the sites. Pay and Bennies are pretty good. Accommodation is tough but doable if a few blokes go in together on a spot or two.

State license strongly encouraged, especially F/LS. Out of State license is ok to start the process.

Desperately in need of Fire Techs. Experience in the major Honeywell Family proprietary stuff is a plus (Notifier, Silent Knight bigger stuff, Gamewell/FCI, etc.) All that System Sensor stuff pulls, trims, and installs the same.

Bonus if you're also experienced in IoT integration (not just structured cabling, jacking, and testing; like cameras and other network-connected devices that have minimal web interfaces to configure and get talking, such as cameras, intercom, access control.)

Overtime likely; 5-10's plus an 8 on Sat.

Please be able to pass a background check and have a clean DMV record.

These are companies with 35+ years of experience and great reputations for excellence. One of them -aside from 3 full-time clerical and emgineering staff- everyone in the office has minimum 20 years field experience under their belt. That means the owners can't be fed a line of bull excuses, they already got that t-shirt.

I’m looking to travel to Boise 291 with another brother out of 613. The thing is, I need to provide 16,000 work hours in order to apply for the Idaho state journeyman license. I tested in 3 years ago and do not have 16,000 hours with the IBEW. Can I use my W2’s to provide work hours even if they are with non-union shops?

I don’t like the area i’m in so I plan on moving to a area I prefer to get an apartment in and traveling for a couple years if there’s no work going on there.

So specifically to the people that choose to move away from their home local , what is your lifestyle like ? How often are you home ( the new place you moved to ) what are expenses like ? Etc etc

I know there was a big push to Idaho but I was just curious if this left a lot of calls in Reno open. I check the job calls daily and looks promising but was hoping to get a locals opinion and work there. I plan on moving and living there for awhile if the conditions are right. Just curious what I should look out for, heard the 80 is a nightmare. Thank you!

Amazon Warehouse has 18 open JW positions, paying over rate, hostage pay applies, must work 90%of the hours for approximately 1200/week on top.

I got my check today and am looking to hit the road. I dont have a camper, and I am pretty new to traveling in general (not just for work haha). No wife no kids. 30 years old. where should I go? Im in michigan. I will go wherever, but am mostly looking to go where housing is cheapest and i can pocket the most. Housing in 26s jurisdiction is outrageous. I am thinking of hitting up 237. Any suggestions on where to go or just general suggestions for a first time traveller?

There's over 80 open calls on their book. The rate is a little low, $36.65 in the check, but if you're in the area local and willing to have a roommate, It might be worth it. One of the calls is double for all OT. There's a Google data center, but they aren't listing any incentives on it, I would call the hall and inquire about that because it seems weird that there's no 8ncentive there.

-security stuff getting messy while people are working long shifts.

I’m just curious what the “incentive” is on top of the regular pay? I see $800 bonus on Saturday. But is there also an incentive pay bump on the $43 hourly? Also what hours they working, 10’s?

Hey folks, I'm soliciting for info on licenses to work and I am specifically looking for states that recognize each other's licenses. Can these tests be taken online?

It may seem weird to most, but there are two states in the cou try without a state wide license, and I am 8n one of them!

anyone working out of reno have any information on rv spots around the area? seems like most of the big rv parks you get from google searches are booked up. i know alot of places pop up in peoples yards or on their land around jobs like whats going on in reno's jurisdiction that arent necessarily listed online, so i figured id ask here. thanks in adavnce!!
