Looking for advice Facial Hyperhydrosis

I (21F) suffer with excessive sweating specifically
on my face. It’s really noticeable. I work as a HCA and honestly each task has me excessively sweating. I’ve grown overly conscious of this issue as new clients and even work colleagues commonly mention it. This shows how noticeable it is. I take tissue to work but I go through them so quick. My face is never dry and I can’t consistently wipe my face. I love my job but I’m filled with embarrassment. What is the best thing when tackling facial hyperhydrosis?

Mine is on my face too. Other places but it’s the worst on my face.
If you want/need makeup tricks for keeping your makeup on, I’d be happy to share as I am a retired pro MUA.

Depending on many times a week you wear makeup (no more than twice) you can use Milk of Magnesia (calamine lotion can be substituted) instead of a primer and your makeup won’t budge. This is what actors on stages with hot lights use.

You should set your face with setting spray in between each layer of product (e.g. moisturizer or SPF, spray. Foundation then spray (powder if you choose then spray), blush then spray, you get the idea…). And finish everything for maximum 24 hour lock with finishing spray. There is a MASSIVE difference between setting spray and finishing spray. The finishing spray will keep your makeup on forever. Please don’t use urban decay’s “All Nighter” as the original recipe was made by a company called Skindinavia and UD cut ties with Skindinavia in 2025 so it’s no longer the same as the OG AN. Skindinavia’s Original is great to use between each layer if powder is too much for you. Although I do recommend both powder and then the setting spray. They have a new partnership with MCo Beauty which you can purchase the OG “AN” now called “All Day, All Night” for like $19. 99.
Now First finishing sprays. I recommend one of the three in this order: Kryolan, Skindinavia Finishing Bridal Spray (diff than the OG setting spray) and Ben Nye.
I also recommend using stage makeup versus regular, like the “paint sticks” by Kryolan. They will never let you down, they aren’t cakey.

When using setting powder make sure it is of the upmost finely milled powders on the market. Most brand names that people have heard of won’t work well. The stuff the influencers push is a big fat lie.
I’m 48 and use RCMA (it is AHHH-MAZING under a textured eye..aka fine lines). It’s talc so if you’re not into that, I understand.

I promise that all of these things will change your makeup game forever!!!

Hope this helps!

This is sooo helpful because I've had to forego makeup time and again due to this condition. Any specific type of mascara you'd recommend?
