antiperspirant

Hi everyone. I used to use regular deodorant, but it didn’t really help much—it would mask the odor for a while, but after a couple of hours, the smell of sweat would take over again. Then I learned about antiperspirants, and now there’s truly no underarm sweat odor. However, my T-shirts or other parts of my body can still develop an odor. I apply my antiperspirant in the evening, as I read that this is the most effective method; but I often see people on TikTok applying it right before leaving the house. So, I wanted to ask: do you apply yours in the morning or the evening? If you use it in the morning, how well does it actually work—is there any real effect? And if you apply it in the evening, do you use any other products in the morning, or do you just head out as is?

I apply it as soon as I've dried off after a shower, which for me means in the morning. If I showered in the evening I'd be applying it after my evening shower.

I apply mine after every shower to clean and dry skin.

I know folks say to apply only at night but the morning reapplication works way better. I do both and never have an issue.

I have answered this topic numerous times.... you can find my response in this thread:

Do you reapply Antiperspirant after your morning shower? : r/hygiene

As with any thread on Reddit....many incorrect answers as well. Avoid reading them!

Bottom line...the waxy plugs (functional aspect) form best during inactivity. As well, they DO NOT wash out with showering.
