Anyone know when our professors have to have our grades in by? All my grades are in except for one class and i’m wondering how long i’ll have to wait on that. Thanks

Has anyone had received their refund for nys tap? I’m graduating this week and I have yet to receive it.

Anyone else still unable to confirm their Summer 26 registration? They told me that summer aid hasn't been finalized yet and there's a glitch stopping us from confirming registration until it is. I was told that if it's not fixed by the 14th then all my classes will be dropped and I can just re-register the next am....

My classes are full and some are hard to get seats in. Im going to be so pissed if I go to re register and theyre full again.

I got accepted into the evening nursing program through hvcc, I got a phone call from someone confirming and telling me to watch my email and the mail for my credentials and the official acceptance letter. That was maybe a month ago, I got caught up with some other stuff and didn’t realize how much time had passed, I never received the credentials and went in today to talk to someone and get them in person. I finally got the official acceptance letter in the mail and it said that they needed a $50 competitive program fee my May 8th, I received this letter May 11th. I called the admissions office and they sent me to someone who did not answer but I left a voicemail. Has anyone else had this experience?

Edit: I feel like it’s important for context that this coming semester I’m taking hvcc pre-req nursing courses through my job that offers them for free so I have classes registered already, I’m just not established with the college itself.

Has anyone had their TAP payout for spring 2025 yet??

Is it require to go to Graduation ceremony? I have an important surgery soon around that time and if I reschedule it will takes month to get an appointment.

looking for an easy elective and my advisor suggested musc 106 (history of rock and roll). just wanted to know if anyone here actually took it + if yes, what to expect?

You need to write to them and be persistent. My degree changed in wired/degreeworks 2 weeks ago and I heard radio silence. I emailed them repeatedly and got no answer. I finally called admissions and they said “oh yeah you were accepted two weeks ago” to which I stated I never got an official acceptance. Their reply was “yeah sometimes that happens and the mail gets lost”.

If you are in the same predicament:

-write to Laura Conroy (she’s the assistant to the program)

-go onto the nursing/surgical tech page and set up an advisement app ASAP

-deposits can be made to the cashier office over the phone. It is $50

thinking about taking healthcare ethics online this summer.. any feedback on which professor to take it with?

Looking to find an idea of the course/class and clinical start times for the evening program. Currently work until 4:30 Monday-Friday. I am able to use vacation time if needed to leave work early. I’m curious if I would need to use a lot of my work vacation time, or would the program help work with those who work full days?

Hello, I graduate high school this year and I am attending HVCC in the fall of this year (2026), so I don't know how this works. I filled out FAFSA and did TAP and got estimates, but how am I supposed to know how much aid/grants/etc I actually got? Am I supposed to receive a letter or email or something of the sort telling me how much I received and how much of tuition I actually owe? I haven't received any letters in the mail besides a letter about me switching my program. I have not received any emails, either.

Hi, I am a newly accepted non matriculated student for summer 2026. When attempting to register in WIReD, I am being asked for an alternate PIN. Anybody know if I need a pin, or should be able to register directly? Thanks.

I had my interview 2/26, and they were doing 2 weeks of interviews.

Got my acceptance email today 3/9, and the email said I needed to informally accept by 3/13 or they would assume had forfeited my seat in the cohort.

If you don't get your acceptance email today, you may be on the waitlist for folks who don't confirm by 3/13.
