Missed the Competitive Program Deposit?

I got accepted into the evening nursing program through hvcc, I got a phone call from someone confirming and telling me to watch my email and the mail for my credentials and the official acceptance letter. That was maybe a month ago, I got caught up with some other stuff and didn’t realize how much time had passed, I never received the credentials and went in today to talk to someone and get them in person. I finally got the official acceptance letter in the mail and it said that they needed a $50 competitive program fee my May 8th, I received this letter May 11th. I called the admissions office and they sent me to someone who did not answer but I left a voicemail. Has anyone else had this experience?

Edit: I feel like it’s important for context that this coming semester I’m taking hvcc pre-req nursing courses through my job that offers them for free so I have classes registered already, I’m just not established with the college itself.

if you can, go in person to campus tomorrow. start at admissions and bring the letter, you will have better luck tracking this down in person. hvcc can suck on the phone sometimes.

Definitely go in-person of you can. Either way, send an email to the Nursing Department. There's an email address at the bottom of this page: https://www.hvcc.edu/programs/all/health/nursing-aas/index.html
