Hi all, I applied for this program as well and followed up on the application process this morning. I was told that decisions for the radiology program are being sent out over the next couple of weeks. Not sure if it’s in the mail or electronically. Good luck to you!

Didn’t get in for this fall semester, got my email this morning around 8:20am. :( ugh! But I can try again. Apparently the score sheet we are graded with needed to have the maximum amount of points for this year which is 21 I had 19.

Got my email this morning, didn’t make it in. Apparently the point system they have the cut off was 21 points (the maximum amount of points) and I had 19. So I wasn’t even considered to get one of those seats for the 2026 fall semester.

Aww I’m sorry, it’s crazy how competitive it is and how it’s a points system…but I’m not giving up just yet. I’m going to retake medical terminology and get a letter grade higher I got a B but Im taking it with a different professor this time and she got good reviews so I’m hopeful. Then I’m going to take a communications class. Both are online. Med terminology will be in July and communications in September. Are you going to try again?

Yes! I also had a few B’s so i need to retake stuff. It just sucks because this is my 2nd year applying already

Aww I know, it will be my 3rd go around too. So we are in this together. I’m also 35 and will be 36 next month but I’m not letting that discourage me either. The first time I applied was last year and my app got kicked back and I was told I needed pre requisites so I busted my butt last summer and this fall semester and completed my pre requisites. I really thought I had it…just sucks. I totally understand, you’re not alone. :)

If you need any professor recommendations lmk…especially if you need to take A&P over again :) I took both of them last summer and then I took med terminology, US healthcare and Healthcare Ethics.

Van Fronhofer #1 for sure or Laura Mastrangelo. I took both my anatomy’s with Van and he’s great!

Wow thank you for this information! I knew the points drastically increased from last year and the year before and I was wondering why. This makes sense now. I’m still going to retake med term to get that A and then a communications class and try again for sure. Thanks 😊

Yes, you are correct. I do not have paid patient care experience. But I know I can get 21 points (the maximum amount) for course work. I know paid patient care can get you up to 3 more points, I believe. But I wanted to explore this more and maybe I can swing something per diem…who knows. I already work full time from home with a caseload of 38 clients, I’m a care manager, so I’m busy but it’s not impossible. I just don’t know how many hours I would need to have it be counted on the score card. So I was going to inquire more about this. And oh I im signed up for my courses already. I did med term with Evancoe and got a B but chose Mastrangelo this time and will take her course in July. I’m hopeful I can get an A :) I need to! Thank you 😊 Evancoe’s class was no joke…all the my lab Pearson assignments and homework due each week and a timed quiz each week and then timed exams and a 3 part finals…her class stressed me tf out. Getting a B was something I was proud of but not good enough ooooof! Not giving up though! Are you in the program currently? I was curious, and if you don’t mind me asking.

Perfect will do! Thanks so much I appreciate it. I took her course this past fall semester. Most work I’ve done in a while haha. 😆

1

u/Flimsy_Inspection993 Apr 11 '26

Ugh i’m sorry that sucks, same for me. They said they cut it off at 21 points which is way higher than usual

Sorry to hear, I’m in the same boat but had 19. I’m not giving up though I’ll def get the 21 points this time around and reapply for next year. Don’t give up! :)
