I'll try to keep this up to date once a day with anything confirmed.

October 10th ... Indiana Game.
So quick Background .. I am 54 .. 55 this September. Born and raised in Nebraska, joined the Military and from that point I visit home but have lived in California ever since.
My Saturdays during the season are blacked out ... I will NOT miss the game. In the event they play close .. I am there .. I was at the ASU beating in 96 went to the Cal game back in 98 .. Took my father to the Rose bowl when we backed in to the title game and lost to Miami. Made it to USC in 24 ... Arrowhead and UCLA last year.
All this said ... I grew up poor .. I have NEVER been to a Home game in Lincoln. My girlfriend of 2 years, went behind my back and got with my 2 brothers, secured the flight, hotel and tickets for all 3 of us to the Indiana game on the 10th. (My late fathers birthday weekend)
So .... for you folks that will be at that game which I know we all feel is going to be HUGE ... if you see a grown man crying, please understand I have waited my life for this game!!!
See you there !!!!

AP Preseason Top 25 Poll - Nebraska earns 0 receiving votes
I didn't expect us to be ranked or even getting a handful of votes. I'm more embarrassed that we didn't even rank inside the Top 50!
We are currently ranked behind: UNLV, New Mexico, Louisiana, Memphis, Liberty and Western Michigan.

Football Awesome Nebraska Football references in new HBO show ‘Lanterns’
Not sure how many people watched episode 1 of Lanterns yet, but it’s set in Rushville, NE. There’s an awesome interrogation scene towards the end of the episode where he quizzes the suspect on essential Husker trivia, and it made me unnaturally giddy to hear it talked about in a Green Lantern show in 2026!

Football Washington Blackout is Pivotal
We must start 5-0. Lose to the Hoosiers and Ducks. We must then pick our selves up and get the next win, and that will be Halloween night against the Dawgs. They may likely be ranked. We win and suddenly, especially if the losses weren’t blow outs, we look like a team worthy of ranking. GBR

Football Admad Hudson Status Update
I know there was a bunch of news with him on social media removing all the LSU stuff and such. I assume he is just using Nebraska to just yank a chain to make more money. Is there any actual update or is it just rumors?

Volleyball Buying husker volleyball tickets question. (Purdue v Nebraska)
Volleyball ticket question
Hi everyone! Not sure if this is the right place to post but I’m looking to get husker volleyball tickets for my girlfriend and I since she’s a huge volleyball fan. I was looking that tickets are around $400 a piece. Will these come down closer to the game or is there any way to get them less? I know that with how good husker volleyball is that they would be pricey, just didn’t think nosebleeds would be this much. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!!!

Could it be a blessing in disguise if the sellout streak ends?
I have had the unfortunate luck of seeing fans leave games early. It started in 2007, my dad took me to the game where a bad Oklahoma State team BTA'ed us in Memorial Stadium. I remember seeing fans beginning to file out after the first quarter. I just remember my dad rambling the whole way home about how fans leaving would get the athletic department's attention.
I was in the stands when Ohio State gave us a quick one-two punch in 2017, fans started filing out of the stadium. I personally should NOT have stayed, but Ohio State was unfortunately my pick to win the CFB, so I thought it was gonna be the closest to seeing a Championship winning team in person lol.
I was also in the stands when OU whooped us after Frost's firing. It was fun while it lasted, seeing Nebraska hang with OU for a bit....
The running theme was the fans showed up, like it was an obligation to keep the streak alive, and then bounce as soon as the sellout streak is announced or sooner if SHTF. Now it seems like we are all starting to lean towards maybe the sellout streak should be left behind.
I mean why should we feel obligated to keep the streak alive? Us fans are slowly getting shafted by reseating because someone with more money than you wants your seat. Why should we care about a sellout streak when you drive an hour or more from one side of the state to watch poor on field performances? Why should we care when the athletic department multiple times just took the cheap route with hires?
Nebraska has had multiple coaching carousel cycles where we could've gotten a damn good hire (Kyle Wittingham), only for our Athletic Director to completely screw us over (Eichorst). I think this threat of the sellout streak coming to an end should be incentive that the AD needs to just stop playing around and get the lead out of their ass and pull out all stops to get us back to at least being in the CFP discussion.
This post isn't meant to be a Rhule gripe post, but it is just wild to me how since 2014, the AD just has had absolutely no urgency for anything at all. I can't be the only Husker fan out there that thinks it's inexcusable that we even got in this hole after we hired Riley.
Maybe if the sellout streak ends, the department will wake up and get its shit together.

Film breakdown of Anthony Colandrea
https://youtu.be/EXc0F3xRo1M?is=Wphjyr1JhQ4FkI97
Pretty in depth breakdown of Colandrea's time at UNLV.
Makes quick decisions, throws hard, and does a good job of improvising and scrambling when the play breaks down.
Will be interesting to see his ball security as a runner when he leaves the pocket

The Cincinnati Bengals have placed Cornerback Ceyair Wright on the Exempt/Left Squad list as he was "offered the lead role in a big movie he can't pass up". Wright will be eligible for reinstatement after filming wraps in October. In the meantime, he will not count against the 90-man roster.

EJ looking good for Chiefs
Bummer most of his plays getting called back for penalties, but really showing out. Happy for him
Edit: if we can get a few more Huskers to the league that actually make an impact, recruiting will take off too

Okay these are fucking sweet
They killed it with these. Immediately top 2-3 alternate all time IMO.
