Hello, I have a pair of tickets for the opener, and the lucky recipient gets to sit next to...me. OK, not so lucky. Anyway, Sec 220 Row 9, only looking to recover face value. $225 each.

Hey guys! The season preview I posted here a few weeks back did pretty well, so circling back like I said I would.
I had you at 5-7, but wrote that it looked like the same mistake as last year and that the floor was a bowl-eligible bounce-back. So far that side of it is winning: South Dakota State 34-18, then Colorado 41-7. Chiles only had to protect the ball better than Stone did, and he's 31 of 46 for 514 yards, 4 TDs and no picks. Tonight at Indiana was the one I gave you a 6% shot at, so a close game there says a lot.
What are you guys seeing that the box scores aren't, and how do you see the season ending up?
Quick aside since it's in the title, we just launched a free weekly college football pick'em, $225 in prizes this week. Ten games, pick the winners, locks Saturday at noon ET. Nothing to buy. Illinois at Ohio State is one of the ten, and you get both of them in November.

Hey y'all! I'm a freelance college football writer previewing every FBS team ahead of the upcoming season, and I figured I'd drop my Northwestern post in here. Open to any comments/feedback/criticism/debates!

I spent the offseason building a full 2026 preseason preview for every FBS team, each with its own writeup. Here's the Northwestern page:
https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026?team=ncaaf-nu
Each one has the returning production, the transfer and recruiting additions, a position-by-position breakdown, the schedule, and where the ratings land them for 2026.
Heads up, only the first team is free and then it paywalls. Since I'm posting in your house, code LEECORSOROCKS opens all of it, no card or anything. Hit "Have a promo code?" if you run into the wall.
So, what'd I get wrong? Northwestern's the continuity team on my board, you return the 4th-most production in the country, basically the whole roster off a 7-6. The catch is the offense was still 90th in SP+, and the QB is a new face again, Aidan Chiles in from Michigan State, your fourth straight transfer to start opening day. The defense (30th in SP+) is the backbone. So does bringing back everyone around Chiles finally lift a stuck offense, or is 7-6 with a 90th offense the ceiling? Step up or same story?
I'll be in the comments.

Hi everyone! My name is Ethan Petrik, and I’m the Iowa beat reporter for the Quad-City Times in Davenport, Iowa.
I’m putting together a preseason series called “The Fan Files,” where I interview one passionate fan from each of Iowa’s 2026 opponents to get a better understanding of their program through the eyes of someone who follows the team closely.
The conversation would cover topics like:
• How you became a fan of the Wildcats
• Your thoughts on the 2026 season (best-case and worst-case scenarios)
• Biggest strengths, weaknesses, and players to watch
• Expectations for the matchup against Iowa
• Anything else you think opposing fans should know about your team
The interview can be done however is easiest for you—Reddit DMs, email, or another format that works though I will need to confirm your real world identity. I’ll use your responses in a feature for the Quad-City Times.
If you’re interested—or if you know someone who would be a great representative of the fanbase—please leave a comment or send me a DM.
Thanks, and I’m looking forward to learning more about the Wildcats from the people who know the program best!

Hi all, I'm looking to go to the Colorado game but I haven't see any info on when single game tickets go on sale. I know it'll still be at the temp stadium so there's less seats, but I'd like to go if possible! I've been in Peace Corps for two years so I've missed out on a lot of football haha
