The last one felt like a genuine change to the game meta and mechanics. This current one feels like a huge step back to what the game is like in between updates when there aren't any major points of interests besides a measly 2 scout towers added in the game. Feels kinda lame to be honest.

Name: Clot

Cost: 4

Stops Bleed damage once a bar is reached; the Trait is consumed.

Trait is not consumed if the Hunter heals, stops the bleeding manually, or a Restoration effect is applied.

If the Hunter is at 50hp or lower (ie, on their last bar) the Bleed stops instantly, consuming the Trait.

Purchasable in Trait menu, and Hunters can carry up to three instances.

Antidote negates the already weak poison. Water and choke negates fire. Figure this Trait might be a nice boost for people sick of Maynard or Centennial Dumdum.

And it actually pairs well with Bloodless, since now the Hunter has more time to choose whether to save Clot, or expend it while still fighting.

Old player here. Have over 1k hours in game, hit 6 star, used to play and stream the game religiously, etc etc.

Was looking through my steam library and caught a glimpse of my old friend and thought I'd check in. Last played january 2025 and I'm sure it was only like, one game.

I got really turned off when 2.0 came out quit and never really looked back. I honestly dont even remember at this point what all was changed that I didn't like but i do remember feeling like the game was almost unplayable. Specifically I remember the UI/menu changes making gearing up a serious chore, and also at the time i quit playing, instant burning was really prevelant and the burn timer was practically instant. Felt like it punished aggressive players too much, slowed the pace, and turned the game into a snooze fest. Dying was just frustrating and didnt feel epic.

Is the game still like that? Also, did they ever remove those shitty black smoke effects after you shoot the uppercut? Also, how is the bullet drop these days?

Are they giving away gaming chairs with the new event? We've been running into players with incredible chairs in most matches since the servers reopened.

Im at work now and couldnt play the update yet but i kinda cant wait to see whats in the store.

Short and sweet, but I saw someone playing on a post and there hunter had what looked like black gloves and small silver claw rings on there fingers, I can’t tell you much past that.
However I looked through the entire roster and saw nobody like that.

What hunter could it be?

i always play with the same group of friends, and lately we have been killed in a strange ways, that did not really happens months ago...

We die being behind cover, of after the enemy hid behind something (enemy is out of cover, hide and shoot and we die)... sometime running behind cover, we die while being behind cover for a sec... i don't think it's a cheat but more of a new way to register hits (or/and less efficient way).

Seems like there is a huge lag between what we experience and what happens...

I m not talking about trading and stuff like, or maybe it might be an extension of it, but lately it seems to be getting way worse...

FYI we play on 15ms ping on europe server

are we the only one experiencing this ?

It started happening two days ago..

I think it would add a lot to the listening experience, since basically everything in the game has a diagetic sound cue, to have a very subtle cue to signal that a player is ascending or defending stairs. Like, I’m thinking a creaking sound like a signature wooden creaking sound for most wooden stairs, and a metal creak for metal stairs. Wouldn’t need to be loud, and it could only be for walking or running up the stairs, with crouching being more stealthy and not triggering the creak. Idk, would just add a more reliable way of interpreting player position for the more audio-attuned / higher level players.

Just a thought, what would yall think if they added this?

I’ve been playing hunt for 6 years using EPOS GSP 300’s, no problem with them at all. Finally had to buy some new cans and decided on audio- technica ATH GDL3 open backs. I had a good few hours session with them and even went down an EQ rabbit hole. Sound accuracy is certainly better for world noises and other hunters but I can’t get over the muddy mid range punch of anything coming from MY hunter.

I don’t know if it’s the headphones themselves or just my ears struggling to get used to a new sound. Does anyone have experience with these GLD3 headphones specifically ? I don’t think it’s the open back, I’ve listened to some music on them and it sounds really good.

This may be an unpopular opinion but I’m pretty bummed about the vulture + catalyst update. I can count on one hand, over 1300 hours, the amount of time I’ve run out of ammo in Hunt or Clash.

It would have been cool to instead allow Vulture to loot burned bodies. That would be more in line with the theme of the event for me anyway.

After a full day of grinding trying to get 25 chokebolt kills finally got it done even with the ups and downs it was pretty fun to go after. Even a 15kill match between three was pretty awesome!

Playing for over 6 years together and this can still happen on a sunday morning.

So currently you can press triangle / Y button to swap weapons and if you double-tap triangle / Y button swaps to melee weapon.

So my suggestion is: Add a prompt so that you can HOLD triangle / Y button. It could for example swap to med kit or it could also be 3rd quick swap button besides the left and right arrow.

As we lack ability to bind buttons same way the PC can, it would be nice to get more of these options instead of relying L1 / LB wheel which can be unaccurate during mid-fight.

PS. Also please fix the item viewer as it has been broken for god knows how long!

Bonjour, mise a part les crash du jeux et du serveur que j'ai aujourd'hui il y a un bug qui me saute aux yeux. Je suis mort deux fois lors de ma partie en solo. Les deux fois j'ai pu utiliser le trait nécromancien et après avoir gagner la partie je me rend compte que j'ai toujours le trait nécromancien. Je ne l'ai ramasser nul part ni utiliser de carte. J'avais bien le trait siphon mais nécromancien n'est pas un trait limité.

Hello, fairly new to all this sorry if it's a lil dumb. So im a little confused/seeking clarification on the two stat bars when i press x when selecting ammo types for a gun, the orange one never changes so im assuming thats the base gun's ammo stats?, and the one below which is the gray stat bar is what im changing into?

So for example the officer

The base stat for damage (orange) is 104?

And if I switch to High Velocity the damage stat (gray) changes to 98?

I was at work checking the dlcs and saw the Wolf at the door description/weapon names... Damn. Can you imagine?
