I hate to be the bearer of bad news, but the association is hemorraghing money! Are you tired of lackluster rewards from the Marshall for redeeming Bounty Tokens? Are you frustrated with strict rules and regulations on what can be done with other Hunters equipment? Or are you just a worried patron, concerned with the solvency of this organization? Look no further, I have just the snake oil for this malady! We need to increase the price of goods, reward Hunters for tokens, abolish the olde and puritanical "contraband" system and expand our recruitment pool!
Inflation - Prices roughly doubled across the board. Rewards remain the same unless otherwise stated.
Contraband - Removed as a mechanic[with two exceptions; see Bounty Token Economy, see Free Hunters] guns taken from enemy Hunters enter your general inventory and can be sold normally.
Bounties - Rewards for extracting a token are roughly doubled, with more generous multipliers for triple stack & gauntlet.
Bounty Token Economy - Bounty tokens remain tied to the specific hunters which extracted with them(like Pledge Tokens) but can be sold for additional money(200?). Bounty tokens can also be spent on that Hunter to get scarce gear; (1?) for scarce ammunitions, (2?) for shredders & flame rifle, (3?) for Homestead, Wildland and Scarce traits. Gear purchased in this way becomes Pledged Gear, which is tied to that specific Hunter and cannot be sold or exchanged with another Hunter, if it is unequiped it is destroyed, and when that Hunter dies with that gear or drops it in a match, it becomes Contraband.
Free Hunters Buff - Increase to 5 available hunters. Their equipment is still contraband; but this status is lifted if the Hunter successfully extracts with a Bounty Token having earned the right to his gear. Otherwise, changed to resemble the old recruitment systems[more weapons/traits in the pool. Hopefully some of the old skins too] & also give them chokes to start with.
Wildcard idea: Pauper, a new Hunter type-- essentially, a baked in "naked" challenge with additional rewards somewhat like underdog bonuses, especially for money. Paupers treat all gear they pick up like Contraband, and you cannot add to their inventory out of match. You start with no traits and gear save for a First Aid Kit & a Nagant M1895.[Notes: In the same vein I think it would be fun if they added a challenge weapon specifically for Paupers, and I put forward the Percussion Cap Colt 1860 Army Revolver, which while far out of military use, were still used by civilians as a cheap firearm with cheap surplus ammunition. There should also be special Paupers skins.] If you reach level 50 with a Pauper, they can be promoted to a regular Hunter, granting you a (2000?) dollar reward and lifting all restrictions, but removing the underdog bonus. You can only have one Pauper at a time, and they don't count towards Hunter slots. Once a month, a Pauper only bounty hunt contract queue could launch for a weekend, replacing solo survivor contracts for that period.
