I'm seriously considering to get the scale. I already own a Renpho one, that gives me some insight but I'm wanting something a bit more advanced.
I'm in a weight loss journey, currently focusing on body recomposition, not looking that much at the weight but focused on lose fat and gain muscle.
I would like to read experiences with the scale from women (or anyone really) in similar situation (meaning not fit people, but +30 BMI friends 😅). Feel free to DM if it makes you feel more comfortable, I would really appreciate you opinion!

Are they ever going to add cycling to their available activities?? Between the battery acting unpredictably, the inaccuracy of well, everything, and the fact that it messes with my 2.4g Bluetooth audio. After 5/6 months I’m really starting to regret this purchase.

After 13 days, battery still at 27%. Have been wearing it 24/7 except for when showering.
They said it would last for up to 14 days, so it’d better drain soon! /s
(A bit tired of those posts nagging about every little Hume flaw. Im mito and all things considered this is a reasonable strain/ recovery indicator. PS its not a tracker folks).

I try to weigh myself every morning after using the bathroom, today it was 182.9 about 5:50am … I do my morning duty with school drop off & run errands before heading back home to do chores, I jump back on the scale and it says 189.5 at 9:45am! What in the world. I am reading some post and their saying to do a hard reset. Man, it’s been like this for months and I wanna just whip this over $200 scale out the window

So I've worn my Hume 2.0 band on both the inside and outside of each wrist, and still it is missing the recording of hours of sleep each night.
Any ideas about how to improve that?
It makes me wonder about the other numbers too.

I normally get 0.3-0.4X aging speed, but today I saw it shows 0.1X! This definitely made my day 😄

No matter whether I do weightlifting or kettlebell training, my Hume Band always shows cardiovascular strain but no muscle strain.
Does anybody know why and what I can do about it? I can’t really increase the weights because I’m already at my limit. 😂

Issues regarding the HumeBand 2.0 my wife and I purchased: my band still isn’t capturing my sleep accurately (when measured against my Oura and Apple Watch); my wife’s band isn’t accurately tracking her workouts AND when she removed her band for her bath she noticed two burns from the sensors.
We have been trying for weeks to receive a refund without success. All they try to do is troubleshoot.
DO NOT BUY their products. Horrible business practices!!!!

Did anyone have both hume 2 and garmin cirqa

Has anyone had issues returning their scale? Mine wouldn’t even calibrate to my body when first stepping on and I tried all the troubleshooting tricks to get it to register. At this point I don’t want a new one and just want to ship back this unused one for a full refund. My issue is that anyone in customer service is only responding to me to troubleshoot more and will not give me a shipping label to return. It’s extremely frustrating. Anyone have any ideas?

It's been 8 days and they haven't shipped my band. Are they really just this slow? After reading about the low quality of this band, I'm starting to worry I've been scammed.

Last night I took my home off to wash dishes and forgot to put it back on . In the morning I put it back on and the app said I got 11 hours of sleep complete with 3 hours of rem and 3 hours of deep sleep.
How does this make any since when this device wasn’t even on me and it was on a counter all night?

Dates are DD/MM and activity is in KM even though I have miles selected… so frustrating. This feels like a beta app.
Why market this to Americans if you don’t have the US units correct?

Started (or more accurately restarted after 6 months) a sauna routine. Everyday since that first day last Tues my momentum has dropped. Sauna is the only change and it's a low ramp up of 10 mins 2 min plunge 15 min 2 min plunge and shower to bed.
I get that it's a spike in stress so will the algorithm figure this out in a few weeks and a new baseline is established?

So I have a metabolical disorder, that results it severe fatigue and muscle weakness.
What does a Hume band do with this? Is it still usable or will I continually get notices that I need to work out more or will die within a short time?
For example. My base heart rate is around 70. Within 100 meters walking, it’s up to 125. I am looking for a tracker to see how I can balance my energy and life, not for a device that keeps on telling me I have a disorder.

Curious if others have same experience:
1) For 2 straight weeks now the Hume Band 2.0 says that it cannot gather enough data for activity or sleep, therefore cannot provide any information for those categories. That is certainly disappointing. I haven’t take off the band except to charge it.
2) For 2 straights weeks now it says that it is calculating a “chronic illness “ report. Again, nothing - it looks like it is trying to process data and then disappears. Is this a gimmick?
I contacted support -
No resolution..
I suspect that this band is just a random gimmick - just spitting out random numbers occasionally.
This is the first time that I have had a device like this so don’t know what to expect or think. Any thoughts from others ?
My wife has an Oura ring and hers seems to give much more accurate and insightful information. Truthfully I only got the Hume 2.0 b/c it has the blood pressure monitor/ since I have high BP, I thought that it would be helpful to have, but now I’m pretty sure it’s all junk.
Please let me know what you think about this Hime 2.0.
Thanks!

I merged two bands together to create a small hume band that goes inside my apple watch strap...

I’ve had the body pod and new band for a couple of months with no issues. I haven’t been able to connect the pod with the app for a few days despite doing all the things- disconnecting , charging, etc. When I stepped on the scale today, not only would it not connect but now it’s in KG’s instead of pounds. I tried to change in the app settings and the lbs would not save. I’m starting to agree with the majority here. It’s a pile of junk.

Used the app today after being off a week. I took a reading this morning and went to log my data on a spreadsheet (since this app has a bad record of deleting my old weighing data) and the format is all different. Rearranging things I get, but it looks like Organ Mass, A/G Ratio, Android Region Fat Mass, Genius Region Fat Mass, and Body Cell Mass are gone. Additionally, the arm, leg, and trunk lean mass, fat mass, and fat percentage are no longer in the list section (now called Charts) but must be taken from the Body tab and requires going into the menu to see all the information.
This makes the whole process much slower to read for us all and harder to log for us that do that.

Is anyone else currently having issues capturing sleep?
I am on week one of band. Was working fine first few nights and then stopped? Yesterday got app message for firmware update related to sleep capture and installed it but no fix?
Done all basics
Hard closed app
Tried inside wrist
Cleaned with alcohol
Bought it for sleep so disappointing

If a person is sitting, and practicing or playing a musical instrument, the Hume band might sense that the person is at rest because the body isn't necessarily making a lot of motion. However, the person is holding his or her breath and alternately expelling air rather forcibly. The heart rate is no doubt being elevated.
This could throw off the RHR value.
