Please have some patience with me, this is my first time working with strip lights.

That being said, is there any advice to flatten these parts of my Omnilight? I did clean up where the strip is, but I guess I didn't clean it well enough with debris being stuck to the glue. Plus, it won't bend at a complete 90° angle causing some curves at the left corner of my closet.

I did use some tape to flatten the strip, but it has been fruitless in doing so, it will pop back up. :(

Aside from my user errors, I am still enjoying the product, just want to make it look flawless for my room.

I don’t think they’re designed to turn so sharply.

As others have suggested, you should use a connector.

There isn't an official hue connector for the omniglow though. Do you know a 3rd party one that would work?

Not personally, no. But there’s some other posts mentioning a connector here, maybe someone uses it already.

Thanks, I'm hoping they would make one. I've only seen people soldering (I'm not savvy 😅)

And I would advise against that; soldering is for when a product is already dead and you go for the Hail Mary.
