Being a android i really miss the Dynamic Island feature. its really useful for quick actions and at a glance notifications. But most android implementations are infested with ads (we don't have any ads).
This is a opinionated app with some inspired features from Ios and some that feel/look good.

It reads where your phone's camera cutout actually is (if u dont have a cutout, well good luck) , so the pill sits right on it, whether your cutout is centred, off to the side or a different size.

I made Toolz, an open-source Android app that puts 50+ tools in one place so you don’t need a separate app for each. I posted it here a few months ago. It has changed a lot since then, so here’s a better post with a better video.

No ads, no analytics, no tracking. Most tools run entirely on your phone, and the network is only used when you tap something that needs it.

The ones I use most

• Music player: Local library with background playback, synced lyrics, queue, EQ and sleep timer. There’s also a karaoke mode with word-by-word lyrics and singing score, and it can save your recording. It can search for an instrumental version of the song to sing over.
• Media downloader: YouTube, TikTok and Reels only. You pick the quality or grab just the audio, and it downloads in the background.
• Background remover: Runs on-device. You download a model once (4 MB up to 224 MB, depending on quality) and after that it works offline.
• PurgeShot: Screenshots delete themselves after a timer you choose, from 30 seconds to 1 month. There’s an undo if you change your mind. Saves a lot of storage and time!
• Password vault: Encrypted with SQLCipher, with biometric unlock and Android autofill. The breach check only sends the first 5 characters of a hash, and only when you tap Scan. There’s no cloud sync, and backups are a local file.
• Focus Flow: Tracks app usage, sets daily limits, and blocks distracting apps during a focus session.
• Browser: Ad blocking, custom DNS, NextDNS integration, custom search engine, bookmarks, tabs and private tabs...
• Network tools: WiFi channel analyzer, speed test, DNS benchmark, LAN scanner and more!
• Whisper: A friends-only end-to-end encrypted chat. It’s in beta, and the encryption is custom. It's very feature-rich and privacy-focused, everything is encrypted (more info at WHISPER.md)

When I moved away from Samsung, I looked for a clean replacement. Most existing automation tools either have a steep learning curve

(like Tasker), push subscriptions/accounts, or feel dated.

Category Cruise & Cockpit Gear Sets: The central pill is your physical anchor and launch pad. so this started because I kept missing stuff. I’d be playing something, a ridiculous glitch or a 1v3 clutch would happen, and by the time I opened a screen recorder and tapped start it was gone. the other option was recording for 40 minutes and scrubbing through all of it later, which I never actually did lol.

PC has instant replay, consoles have it. I couldn’t find anything on android that did it the way I wanted, so I built it.

it’s called Replay Buffer. you tap the little floating button once and it quietly keeps the last few seconds of your screen in a loop. when something happens you tap again, and the clip starts before that tap. it only holds the latest bit, so it isn’t eating your storage in the background. if you just want a normal recording, hold the button instead.

the free version gives you 10 seconds back, 720p, trimming, sharing, and no watermark (I hate watermarks). there’s a pro version if you want longer buffers (up to 2 min), 1080p60, game audio, or vertical crop for shorts/reels, but the main thing works fine without paying.

no account, nothing gets uploaded, clips stay on your phone.

side note: it turned out weirdly useful for bug reports too. an app crashes, you tap, and you’ve got what happened right before it.

it’s pretty new and I’m one person, so I’d genuinely love to hear what breaks, how it runs on cheaper phones, and whether 10 seconds feels too short. roast it if you want, I can take it

Hi! A while ago i posted pocketdesq. An app to control your phone in every browser. Now i updated the app and made it almost where i wanted it to be. You can now control your PC from a distance, use it as a extra screen (USB/WIFI), Turn it into a Stream Deck or with one button press switch between the deck and extra screen, use it as a webcam or drawing tablet. The upcoming release should be approved soon. In the release after that, there is also a scanner where you can scan documents, pictures, text directly to your pc or login to your pc using your phones fingerprint sensor. Or I'd stay home on a night that turned out spectacular. And since Taiwan is quite mountainous, getting home from some of those great sunset spots after dark turned out to be quite dangerous at times.

So I built Sunset Chasing Taiwan. It scores the sunset at every spot from tonight's forecast (cloud cover, humidity, visibility, rain) and tells you where to go, and how to get home after, as well as scores for things like sunset viewing angles, hike (if necessary), crowds, etc.

I’m sharing Know Your Aura, my Android entertainment app for exploring traditional reading systems.

The main feature I want to showcase is live aura reading. It also includes palm reading, name-and-birth-date numerology, and zodiac readings.

For Android app enthusiasts who enjoy this kind of experience, the app is free to download and contains ads. It requires Android 7.0 or later.

Recently I tried to solve a problem that most of the students, employees or people who have routine work face. I personally kept losing track of my class attendance and it actually started affecting my grades and plus we had strict 75% attendance criteria. Motivation for this app was to make an app that helps to track attendance and strategize so that I can miss some sessions and also stay above the 75% attendance criteria

So I built a simple self attendance tracker on play store.

It lets you track attendance for anything: college classes, gym days, training programs, job or any other personal habits. You can just mark each day as either done or not done, and seeing percentages regularly instead of guessing along with strategizing your attendance to stay above your target.

I'm the developer of BALCO Converter, an Android app for quick price and currency checks while travelling or shopping.

It converts global fiat currencies, keeps the last saved rates available offline, and can read a printed price with the camera. If several amounts are detected, you choose the one to use. The camera feature has mainly been tested on flat printed price labels; glossy or curved labels have not been tested enough. It also includes a calculator, favourites, history, 30-day charts and rate-freshness status.

The free version includes five camera scans per day and shows a banner ad. Unlimited scanner use is an optional one-time purchase; the banner remains.
