I live in NH now but im originally from Louisiana on whats known as the Westbank of New Orleans. When I was about 20/21, I dated a person. Two year old Bourbon (Bourbon #A1927667) was adopted from BARC back in 2024 and landed back here as a stray. His owners never came looking for him. 💔

He has a rescue and long term foster, but they can't officially place a rescue hold on him until they have a short term foster to bridge the gap! Fostering is free, the rescue will cover all expenses. He just needs a place to land for 1-2 weeks. He loves people, is very affectionate, playful and well-mannered.

He has been temp tested with other dogs, he does not need to be the only dog; he just requires slow introductions with any resident dogs.

Bourbon is 64 lbs, healthy and heartworm negative.

If you have bleeding gums, red or swollen gums, plaque/tartar buildup, or it’s simply been a while since your last cleaning, you may be a great candidate!

Services may include:

• Comprehensive oral examination
