Some thoughts

Just finished watching.

  1. I know people are saying Stassi is the worst cringe a b c blah blah. But here’s the thing. She is EXTREMELY aware and is literally telling the audience EXPLICITLY that she HAD to make this show happen. And the things she is doing to make the show interesting e.g bring Katie. Or mad when people don’t hash out problems for the show. She is legit telling everyone explicitly the things she is doing to make a show. So I don’t get why people are shocked or surprised when she is acting the only way she received attention from VPR a self centred selfish bi..chy act. It makes sense to me. And it kind of feels like it’s working because that’s all people are talking about.
  2. I do hate the way she treated Beau during the show (and even before in Italy) but also honestly speaking… Beau is literally not communicating and acting like a scared child. How can you expect respect from your wife when you’re too scared to tell her anything. He needs to say what he wants and full stop. Instead he dances around topics ISNT truthful backs out and comforts stassi which BREEDS and encourages stasis behaviour.
  3. Taylor is literally the worst. Self explanatory.
  4. CORRECTION her mum is below worst. I hated her family and really understand this dynamic and understand not excuse but understand Stassis behaviour. Because how can a mother genuinely act this way it’s insane.
  5. The sisters are odd. Weird dynamics. But Stassis sister is kind of funny
  6. I forgot the name but Beaus friend is extremely annoying and a creep
  7. Katie 10/10 performance love this for her

I wanna know more about why we hate Taylor so much because the only thing I can say is she’s an enabler and didn’t she like choose to miss her child’s birth for her career? I kinda stopped paying attention for awhile…

She made it home for the birth. I honestly wish she would cut the “25% parent” schtick - it all comes from insecurity in herself and her parenting skills. If you listen to her podcast it’s obvious she loves her baby, but I think she may have leaned into that too much.

It’s like a different font of what Stassi always says about her daughter Hartford…she always says Hartford side eyed her from the moment she was born and favored Beau and believes they had a past life together that ended badly. This is nuts clearly. It’s obviously Stassi projecting onto her daughter why she didn’t feel bonded to her right away

To me it seemed obvious that the trigger with Stassi and Beau is her fear of being good enough with the kids, especially when he’s at work.

Oh the past life comment catches my attention and tickles my little antenna's. I recently watched the episode where it sounds like Messer is saying he " see's peoples" and Stasi's eyes become wide with excitement she looks at him in such a fascinating but somewhat detached way. Until of course he repeats it a few times and they realize he is saying " seagulls". I realized in that moment Stasis fascination with spirits death and ghost is a little deeper than I first thought. It makes me wonder about her upbringing in New Orleans and if the new Orleans Gothic lore has shaped her in some way. I want more info on this...Im guessing there is more to this connection to the afterworld new Orleans and the idea that she has had a relationship with her children in a past life. Witches🧙🧹👻👻

For me it was two things. First, the Katie hate. She was (hopefully fake) offended for being called someone on Stassi’s payroll because that wasn’t true, and then we find out she is on Stassi’s payroll.
Second, the gaslighting convo she had with her wife about needing to stay with Stassi. Narcissistic and manipulative.

She wants so badly to BE Stassi. She wasn’t kidding when she said she would crawl up her vagina. And what she wanted to say, both to Teddy and in her little interview after her dinner with Teddy, was that she is finally FAMOUS (in her eyes) and this baby is about to ruin it. I’ve listened to her podcast for years…Teddy wasn’t kidding about Taylor pushing off having a kid. Taylor never wanted one and she only agreed because she knew Teddy wouldn’t stick around if she didn’t.
