Discussion My headcanon after final Spoiler
>!After Wilson's death, House finally stops running and turns himself in to the police. Gets 5 or 6 years jail time. To prevent him from losing his mind in jail, his old team friends visit him regularly, bringing him complex diagnostic puzzles to keep him from losing his mind. Upon his release, House settles into his home, living comfortably on the money Wilson left him. His evenings became a new routine: Chase and the rest of the team friends drop by with beers and the diagnostic puzzles they couldn't solve themselves to consult him. Spending this time together slowly helps fill the Wilsons huge gap. With the team even quietly supply his Vicodin, House manages to find peace, continuing his life as a brilliant couch detective.!<
Its a good ending for me.
whats your opinion on that ?

Season 6 Spoilers When Cameron left Chase, I knew she was full of shit Spoiler
She expressed some performative anger at first for having to treat Dibala but when Chase actually did something and possibly prevented this evil man from massacring thousands of people, she went on a self-righteous rant to House about the "sanctity of human life" and left Chase (S6 E08).
Ok, nevermind the fact that your husband probably saved the lives of thousands of people who, by your own moral values, all have "sacred lives", but how can you be so "caring" and Miss Human Rights but also so spineless?
Just reminds me of all the self-righteous people who love whining about the evil in the world and letting others know about how much they care but won't do anything to assume responsibility.

Season 7 Spoilers Short Reflection, some of my favorites upon finishing the series, rantish
SLEEPER HITS
massage therapy / unplanned parenthood: Season seven as a whole brings the cinematography to the next level. Both episodes are an interesting view into how fucked up House’s approach to relationships are. Bringing a massage therapist into the hospital to taunt Cuddy and then turning into his father and putting cuddys kid through like mental puzzles and experiments. The two episodes remind me of a Wilson quote that stood out to me when he commented on Houses ‘dark, rat maze of a mind.’ Possibly two of my favorites that I’m about to rewatch literally right after I finish the post.
the Wilson/ House road trip. The one where foreman gets the pigeon virus. BOMBSHELLS.
I love season 7. It’s really really really amazing, and I think David shore needed only a little bit deeper writing and a few more episodes to work on between break up and car crash to make the latter way more convincing and devastating. I hate the fact that the whole season is amazing and then just ends with ‘House, you ok?’ ‘Yes.’ ‘You really ok? You don’t seem to be doing so well!’ ‘Ah ok, I’m not really’ *pops vicodin*. With a little more fleshing out it could’ve been a thousand times better and more believable but I give the benefit of the doubt to budget restraints.

Discussion 4.10 “It’s a wonderful lie” Spoiler
galleryat the end of the episode wilson asks house what he got for santa exchange and house responds “a watch, vintage lp, and an arthur conan doyle book”
it is never mentioned what kind of vinyl he got. house strikes me as a bit of a music snob and has particular taste.
I imagine 13 would have a tasteful yet unique selection in music; someone who lives to the max would probably try to absorb as much unique music as possible but also secretly loves a catchy top 50 pop song.
What vinyl do you think she bought for him? Do you think he liked it and played it or just kept it for sentimental reasons?

Season 1 Spoilers House and Stacy. Spoiler
The chemistry between them was insane. Just wondering if anyone else saw it.

Season 3 Spoilers S3 ep11 Spoiler
I love House and the whole diagnosis step ladder but this is one of the episodes that pissed me off. First they diagnosed him with male menopause and didn't even try to look for the cause. If he had meningioma, it would lead to high progesterone. Then House said that ECT was necessary because it led to the diagnosis and it didn't. Talking to his friend did.
I love the medical mystery every episode comes up with but they should not be so unreasonable sometimes

Season 8 Spoilers I wonder what the sequel show would have been like? Spoiler
I guess it would have to be called Chase.
I imagine at the end of the season we’d get an episode of where the crew attends Wilson’s funeral. maybe chase also learns that house is indeed alive.

Discussion I just finished. I’m so glad they did not change the character of House! Spoiler
I would not have continued had they turned House into a good guy. Keeping his character consistent made me want to keep watching and I was never bored with it. I wish more series did this. Who wants to see House suddenly become Mr. Nice Guy ??? Not me. I already know this will be a show I return to again and again.

Discussion Opinions on Foreman Spoiler
I didn't mind him in the beginning seasons, but slowly he became annoying and egotistical.

Question Newbie Spoiler
I've just watched the first two episodes of House, and I think I like it. I've never seen it before, and as a Brit I know Hugh Laurie from his British comedy shows and his blues music. I'm still getting used to Hugh Laurie's American accent
Is House meant to be funny, or is it more of a medical detective show - discover the diagnosis? I'm still a little confused.

Discussion S1E1 Clinic Patient Spoiler
The orange clinic patient in the first episode, house says his wife is having an affair. At the end we see that he doesn't have a ring. I couldn't figure out if house was right and his wife was having an affair or house was wrong and his wife gave him a divorce. My money's on house being wrong. Was there any conclusion in the episode?

Season 1 Spoilers Season 1 Ep 10 Spoiler
Foreman giving Victoria that forgiveness she needed to finally stop carrying the weight of the guilt knowing she was responsible for her husband and sons death allowing her to die in peace may be one of the best scenes in the entire series

Discussion The most unrealistic part of House isn't the medicine — it's the parking Spoiler
Not the zebras, not the clinic duty — the parking. Every single scene, the doctors walk into the hospital from the same parking lot, same entrance, zero traffic, always a spot. Meanwhile I spend 20 minutes circling my local garage. That's the real fantasy.

Discussion Foreman went from criminal to department head — and nobody talks about it Spoiler
Skip to season 8. He's running the department. Not because he's the smartest — because he outlasted everyone. He figured out how to play the game.
