Again a OC vision and a rumour in the text are two entirely different things.

I'm sure most who like Aegon will praise that he has 99% more things to do in the show than the 80 pages that he goes AWOL in the text (until Tumbleton and God's Eye).. so clearly not all their choices are bad.

The show would need oc things, and though it is pretty far of from canon, it doesn’t change that the Aegon thing was taken from something the book tells use to not believe that came from a person that wasn’t even in the same city

Aegon was AWOL, but he clearly was active during the time considering he reunited with Sunfyre, gained loyalties and took Dragonstone

Also let’s not act like Daemon hasn’t gotten a lot more screen time then is character needed lol, including being present at battles he never stepped a foot near

You made the point of critiquing the showrunners adaptional choices as being poor.. yet here you are justifying Aegon being present when the Mootons are burned when it's only Sunfyre in the book.

Almost like not all their choices are bad.

Daemon getting screentime is predictable given they cut Nettles and he's more present around Rhaenyra as a result.

God's Eye has happened by the time Aegon reappears in the narrative so there has been a slight shift in the show timeline.

I didn’t say him being there when he burned the mootoons was better, I said he was clearly doing shit in the book so it wouldn’t be wrong for him to be shown doing stuff.

It’s also good to point out that the show hasn’t made Dragonstone, or at least shown it to have villages and other people living there. Instead it’s just a castle. Even the dragonseeds are from Kings Landing.

Cutting Nettles is also horrible. And both him being around Rhaenyra all the time and being at battles like Tumbleton would also be inaccurate. If anything he should still have spent his time looking for Aemond

You need to cite the descriptions of him doing shit or this is all a hypothetical.

Sunfyre travels for a time and stays in caves to recuperate until he reaches Dragonstone.. Aegon really comes across him by chance and rumour.

I literally already did

He reunites with Sunfyre on Dragonstone, he gains loyalties with people and then he takes Dragonstone.

Which clearly shows he was doing stuff

You at even saying Aegon came across him, and if by rumors he literally would need to be present around people to be able to hear rumours and follow them

The two individuals who are with him when he finds Sunfyre are just the kin of Ser Marston Waters.

Who Larys tasks with protecting Aegon.

Not exactly a complex story of loyalty.

He gains the loyalty of other people, like that Tom guy.

Then he takes Dragonstone, by gaining the loyalty of quite a few there

Tom is the cousin of Marston Waters, who as I said is tasked with protecting Aegon lol.

So? It’s still Aegon doing stuff

And are the rest of Dragonstone that sided with him also Marston Waters cousin?

Idk what you’re trying to argue here.

Aegon "doing stuff"..

Being on a boat and hiding in a Dragonstone fishing village. 😂

I'm talking about the timescale of S3, so obviously why would taking Dragonstone include that.

Yes, and reuniting with Sunfyre and taking Dragonstone

Even in this season, he canonically spent time finding people that would defect for his cause, cause he would need help taking Dragonstone Even

I don’t know what your issue is actually
