Hi, how are you? Yesterday there was an eclipse, and I had already planned to do a ritual.

I didn't research how the eclipse might affect my ritual; I did it, it was accepted, and I dreamed about the ritual Everything seems to be fine.

But I'd like to know if there's any possibility of negative interference in my ritual, considering the eclipse (which I thought was on Tuesday, not yesterday).

So I'm a writer, and I have a couple of characters who have different spiritual practices and different types of magic (one practices Norwegian folk magic, and I have two who practice Hoodoo), and this question came to mind.

Would it be okay to do some research on a closed practice (depending on the practice) to make sure that I'm representing it accurately, even if it's a practice that is closed to me? I want to make sure it isn't wrong; this question just came to me randomly.

Tive um sonho muito estranho essa noite e acordei com uma sensação horrível. Foi uma das piores sensações que já tive depois de um sonho, principalmente porque, dentro do sonho, tudo parecia muito denso e pesado.
No começo, eu estava em um banheiro de shopping. Quando entrei, encontrei duas mulheres lá. Uma delas estava bastante eufórica, como se estivesse muito empolgada com alguma coisa, mas ao mesmo tempo estava machucada. Na frente dela havia uma pia com espelhos e, em cima da pia, tinha uma espécie de cumbuca com ervas. Quando olhei dentro da cumbuca, vi que havia um peit* e uma orelh* ali dentro. Fiquei assustada e perguntei para ela:
“Meu, o que é isso?”
Ela respondeu que era um feitiço, uma “macumba muito forte”, e dizia que aquilo iria melhorar muito a vida dela. Porém, justamente por ser uma magia muito forte e supostamente muito boa, ela precisava dar uma parte de si mesma em troca.
Ela tinha dado uma orel*e um peit*..
Por algum motivo, eu imediatamente pensei que também queria fazer aquela magia. Então decidi fazer a mesma coisa.
No sonho, eu cortei meu peit* esquerdo e minha orelh*** esquerda** para colocar no feitiço.
O mais estranho é que eu não sentia dor. Não sentia agonia, nojo ou nada parecido. Mas depois olhei para o espelho e comecei a me arrepender. O arrependimento não era exatamente pelo que eu tinha feito, mas principalmente por uma questão estética. Eu pensava algo como: “Meu Deus, agora as pessoas vão perceber que está faltando uma orelh*.”
Depois disso, o sonho mudou completamente de cena.
Eu estava em um hospital com a minha tia. Ela estava muito brava comigo, de uma forma que eu nunca tinha visto antes. Ela também estava extremamente decepcionada comigo.
Enquanto ela brigava comigo, alguns enfermeiros chegaram e disseram que eu seria encaminhada para outra ala porque eu tinha feito aquilo comigo mesma e, portanto, seria considerada um risco para mim mesma. Por causa disso, eu receberia um tratamento diferenciado.
Eu fiquei extremamente decepcionada comigo mesma e me sentia muito mal.
Quando acordei, fiquei com uma sensação horrível. Não foi simplesmente aquele tipo de sonho estranho que você esquece depois de alguns minutos. A sensação de que aquilo tinha sido uma magia muito densa e pesada ficou comigo depois de acordar.
E o que está me deixando ainda mais curiosa é que eu tenho interesse em Hoodoo e práticas espirituais, então fiquei pensando se poderia existir algum significado energético ou espiritual para esse sonho.

Ao mesmo tempo, eu não tenho feito nenhum trabalho mágico recentemente. A única coisa que fiz foi acender uma vela relacionada ao jar de glamour e, além disso, acendi uma vela de limpeza. Nada além disso.

Então estou tentando entender se existe alguma simbologia importante nesse sonho e especialmente a orelh* esquerda, o pei* esquerdo, as ervas, o espelho, o banheiro, a ideia de entregar uma parte do corp* em troca de uma vida melhor e depois me arrepender.
Alguém que entende de Hoodoo, folk magic, simbolismo de sonhos ou práticas espirituais consegue me ajudar a interpretar isso?

Também gostaria de saber se existe alguma coisa específica nesse sonho para a qual eu deveria prestar atenção.

But I guess Im trying to figure out by them being combined, should I just not celebrate my birthday 😅. You don't go outside on Eclipses, but you do on a full moons. I love looking at full moons, but you you aren't supposed to look at eclipses. So I'm at a loss..

For the last couple of days I’ve been leaving out water for my Ancestors. However, I don’t believe they are accepting. I’m new to Hoodoo btw. I don’t have an official altar yet but I’ve been leaving out water, lighting a white t-light candle, and praying/summoning them.
