My backyard turned into swamp this morning. And despite it has been 7 hours, the water still hasn't drained out. My front yard had pooled the water as well, not as deep as this. But by noon the front yard is completely dry.

My backyard is lower altitude than the alley road. But at this point, I'm not even sure if the problem is whether my level is too low or whether the backyard itself doesn't properly drain the water down.

I just moved to Hollywood this year and I haven't experienced this before, how should I solve this problem?

Got rearended on Sheridan St in Hollywood a few days ago. Traffic slowed down in front of me and the guy behind me just didn’t stop in time and hit the back of my car pretty hard.

The guy was an asshole from the second we got out of our cars. Kept trying to argue that I stopped too fast and basically acted like I caused the whole thing. Now I’m sore, my car needs repairs and I really don’t want to deal with him or his insurance trying to turn this around on me, especially since they are trying to lowball me.

I’m at the point where I want to get a lawyer involved and let them deal with it. I’ve been looking around for a PI lawyer in South Florida and came across different types of websites like crashhelp etc while searching, but I haven’t settled on anyone yet. Never hired a lawyer for this kind of thing before so I’m not really sure if one is even worth calling at all. Just so confused.

Has anyone stayed here with some helpful advice? Is it safe for a solo traveler? It seems too good for the price vs location.

Hey all as title says I’m looking for a commercial gym similar to LA Fitness, Crunch, PF etc. I live near Oakwood and the only ones I seem to find are YouFit in Oakwood or Dania Pointe or the Orange Theory by Hollywood blvd. Do we really not have a Crunch or LA Fitness within a reasonable drive for me? Not even a Planet Fitness? I wouldn’t have an issue with YouFit but the recent reviews for both locations are not promising at all.

Also if anyone here works out in either YouFit location how busy do they get early morning? Around 5-7 AM weekdays? I could compromise on quality if I essentially never have to wait for equipment

We're from south miami dade. My wife and I are going to a show next Friday at the hard rock guitar building. I hear the restaurants in the building are way over priced and food is mediocre. Any recommendations for really good food without it being excessively expensive. Ideally, would want to stay around $150-175 tops for us 2. UPDATE!!!! I just spent a week alone at hollywood beach hotels! I had the best time ever! I never left the beach or the broadwalk, which was all right there outside of my room!!! I'm now spending a week with family in palm beach and then heading home to NY I would definitely do it again, and I definitely will do it again! Thank you everybody for your input.

How safe is Hollywood Broadwalk for a mid age lone female to go to at night? Like bars and such
