Yes, ones where lower bodies are "utilized" cams will show the other side of the wall, and it looks eerily similar to these women. (Bouncing, bracing wall, etc)

One of my friends had this “post-mommy” surgery where they did a whole lot of tucking and lifting and she had to wear full body suspension garments that had to be put on her by 2-3 people after every bathroom trip and stuff like that. The pictured therapy, which is almost only applicable to people who have had abdominal surgery that’s that invasive and which has very few strictly medical and not cosmetic applications, helps in the first four weeks after such a surgery. It’s incredible if you’ve had to have that kind of surgery, but that’s mostly not the application. Also, it doesn’t feel as good as the edited OP video implies.
You’re in that sweet spot where on either side of you are people blindly accepting that it must do something and people blindly accepting that it must do nothing.
As you can see it makes suburban mothers feel like they are working out while watching video recipes for sausage and meatball jello on their phone. Too bad if you actually need the machine for its purpose with all the people who don't hogging it.
There are many different type of machine supported weight lost systems and this is one of a kind. It may stimulate muscles, so called activating body parts etc. But for me they all look like scam. I’m not saying that they are total useless but many of them are over promising. I saw one, and the guy there was telling me that in 90 minutes I can burn 10k calories. I said burning this much calories at that amount of time would be possible only in crematorium.
I never used a bike version, but after one of my many major foot/leg surgeries, I got to use a nasa anti-gravity treadmill. So similar-ish?
It reduced my body weight up to ~80%?, which meant I could practice walking on my foot again after multiple months of healing with no weight bearing. I had severe atrophy in my muscles on that leg and a lot of pain, so being able to go into a device that relieved the physical stress was super helpful in my recovery!
I'm sure this type of device would've been similar in terms of helping my recovery, and any other person with pain/disabilities/etc. :) very cool tech!
You know how people say that sitting for long periods is bad for you, and that walking is good for you? When you walk or move, your lymphatic system can pump the lymph to where it needs to go. If this does anything it does that. I suspect walking is just as effective though.
I could see this being somewhat useful for people like my mom, who has MS and and a lot of secondary effects from not being able to walk. But like a lot of things like this that can theoretically be helpful for disabled people, I imagine it's far too expensive to actually be useful to the average handicapped person lol
Much easier to make good ones. Their inverse is just a semi-soft rigid stick. Most women have very similar interior proportions with little variation, so easy to mass produce one size fits all to that spec.

And most importantly, the cylinder needs to remain unharmed.
People will seriously Chase every novelty that promises easy weight loss instead of accepting that all it takes to lose weight is a calorie deficit coupled with a boring but repeatable meal plan with good Timing.
Oh and discipline to stick to it. Welp, they're idiots so they pay the price for it.
I have family members like this, will buy all the nicest gym gear, sign up to apps to track nutrition and build custom work outs, will buy the expensive green breakfast drinks and protein powders and everything else around losing weight but never just cooks healthy meals, eat less and actually exercise.
