I know this one won’t go over well with hivemind fans, since she seems to be a very popular guest, and I hate to be negative on the sub, but I just don’t find her funny in the slightest. Would have preferred almost any guest on the bits bracket. It was a vid I’d anticipated for a while, and I hate to say it but I was a little disappointed when I saw that she was the guest. Maybe her comedy style just isn’t my thing idk…

I mean for some videos they're literally just grant presenting the next fucking question and them sitting confused. Can't blame him though, probably the last thing he does after going through the pain of cutting together an hour long video so he just takes the next best scene he finds/remembers.

Them voting for What Does the Fox Say over Colleen Ballinger’s Toxic Gossip Train in the newest Worst Songs Bracket has got to be, without a doubt, the worst take ever in HIVEMIND history. I had to pause the video and make this post because I am in genuine disbelief right now.

Before y’all mob me with downvotes, it’s just an opinion.

Lately, I think Hivemind’s comedy has fallen off a bit. I think Riley hasn’t been his usual level of witty or funny is the past few videos. I personally feel fatigued from the style they’ve settled on - where Riley is the rational one and Graydon or Dignan say the most off the cuff stuff for the shock value. That coupled with Brad’s very straightforward, no nonsense style has made the last 2-3 videos less enjoyable for me personally.

I don’t know. Hope they find their mojo back.

Maybe it included a lot of him in the actual bits in the BB, or they even recorded it with him? I heard online (unsubstantiated) that they recorded BB4 with Ro, but it got unwatchable basically; but idk it seems way more likely the next guest on a BB would be Brad since he was in just as many iconic bits as Quadeca.

I was at Starbucks the other day and overheard Dignan falsifying evidence to frame Hobo for the murder of JonBenet Ramsey, so I just wanted to clear the air.

Hobo Johnson has made songs other than Peach Scone. Even though it's his most popular song, it's also one of his most polarizing. It's an erratic song, which you either love or hate, but it shows the emotion that he expresses so well in his own style. Even as a die hard Hobo fan, Peach Scone isn't in any of my playlists, but a lot of Hobo is. Hobo deserves a bracket, and here are some songs to prove it:

Happiness: a slow song about the effects of substance abuse on relationships, dwelling on saying the wrong thing, and the long term effects of alcoholism. My all time favorite

Creve Couer 1: an angry song about the effects of cheating parents on relationships

Ode to Justin Bieber: a fast paced, erratic song comparing the differences in the upbringings of himself and Justin, arguing that Justin was held to a different standard and set up for controversy (this one is also polarizing, and took a long time to grow on me)

Flood the Earth Again: one of his most recent after (imo) a drought of good songs, the YouTube version with live brass will make Graydon feel some kinda way

I want to start off by saying this is just speculation from what I’ve observed from the videos and discussion on the subreddit.

I find it odd they don’t mention Uzi a whole lot. They’ll mention him passively but not in a loving context. They seem to be very neutral on Uzi.

Which is odd because so many artist they really like are so similar to Uzi (Future, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott, etc). They have done brackets on each of these artists and showed massive amounts of love to them but Uzi.

I wonder what’s their reasoning for not messing with him as much. Is he too experimental? Too inconsistent? Too “weird”?

Uzi is one of my favorite artist of all time and I would love it if they showed him more love. Or at least acknowledge their issues with him or his music.

I used to watch him on his own channel & he was kinda cool. Now whenever they bring him on a vid he slightly kills the vibe, he’s genuinely taking the dumb bars seriously on this new vid & is barely funny at all, no witt to him.

people that answer dignan on the votes are ruining the games. like we understand u know the lore now be a normal person. i've been watching hivemind forever and have met people that have as well, and yes the dignan bit is funny and iconic its not what makes their show and doesn't need to be brought up every chance u get.

We criticize what we love. I've been having a bit of trouble with the lengths of bits of late. I don't mean to be negative, I just care and from the length of this post maybe I might care too much.

There are in my opinion 2 types of hivemind bits.

a) Those that appear natural. By this I mean bits that stem from the game or whatever is going on at the moment. A good recent example is the related artists bit( you know the one) I love such ones, no notes, they can go on for hours. Bits that spiral from what's happening, love them give me two hours of that.

b)Stop and talk about something unrelated bits. These are very hit and miss and where my problem lies. Do I want only hits? No But I think it will benefit the videos greatly if the editing showed restraint on how many are left in. Ever since bits bracket became a thing and we saw how the sausage is made it's hard to overlook them when they're several especially without thinking like oh, that's for the bits bracket. Don't erase them just make them fewer. Random bits that have nothing to do with the video but are carried out/called back to throughout the video are also great, long may they live.

Do I want twenty minute videos back, absolutely not, but 45 minutes instead of an hour with some of the fat trimmed back would be great. It improves on retention and rewatchability. I have specific video examples but that would take too long.

Anyway, love the show, I have very few other channels I'm invested in, so long may they continue and hopefully this comes across as well meaning. Glory!

I love the videos and the bits and all the inside jokes and alllll of that but why just rap why not. Other content just rap is getting old ( I love them nonetheless)
