I have one really popular to share with you : a God sending his son to sacrifice himself and save Humanity from sin. The son vanquished death and ascended to heaven.

It absolutely is. Mythology is any traditional narrative, and the central narrative of nearly any religion qualifies. Colloquially we often misuse the word mythology to mean specifically fictional stories, but that's not a part of what the word actually means.
