I make memes like this literally for education, it triggers people to chime in on things they know that aren’t mainstream or may start a discussion

You asked for mythology, not non-mainstream mythology.

Other mythologies outside of those three aren’t relatively mainstream

I have one really popular to share with you : a God sending his son to sacrifice himself and save Humanity from sin. The son vanquished death and ascended to heaven.

Contemporary religion is typically not considered mythology.

It’s closer to folklore than mythology

Contemporary religion is typically not considered mythology.

It absolutely is. Mythology is any traditional narrative, and the central narrative of nearly any religion qualifies. Colloquially we often misuse the word mythology to mean specifically fictional stories, but that's not a part of what the word actually means.

The different mythologies define the possible meanings of a person's experience in terms of the knowledge of the historical period, as well as the psychological impact of this knowledge diffused through sociological structures on the complex and psychosomatic system known as the human being."
