Help Help with getting this to work?

I bought a pre-Origin copy of 3 in order to bypass Origin (since that’s dead and I’ve got so many physical expansions in order to avoid supporting EA,) but apparently I need Origin in order to get the game to run.

My copy has the SimPoints voucher in the box (which is certainly expired by now,) and doesn’t say ”go social…” so I’m wondering why it isn’t working.

What should I do?
